Just got home from my first League tennis match of 2007. Had a very good day & my partner & I won 6-1, 6-1. Hope the rest of the year goes as well!!

Hi Judy - We played on clay courts today (not red like at the French, though). One of our opponents had one whole leg in braces, both knee & ankle, poor thing. Her partner has bad arthritis in her hands. Feel like we're playing in a geriatric league, but really we did have a lot of very good points & many deuce games.

I stand corrected. My list showed the 16th for Susan but she obviously knows her own birthday. So, Susan, when you awake this morning on OZ or where ever you are....Happy Birthday.

Oh my gosh, Kathy, you beat up on the handicapped today! Doesn't take away from the Thrill of Victory, though, does it? :)
