We're crossing another tech barrier--in the market for a digital camera, something appropriate for travel, with a zoom and wide angle feature, not too large, nothing too fancy. Don't know a thing about these cameras. Any suggestions/recommendations?
 |  |
Andre - I could have said anyone but as the Battle for the Ashes is about to start I thought your lot qualified best.
 |  |
Hi everyone. Len, Fred & Debby where in Michigan are you?
 |  |
Hi ap, I love these group names. I had always heard a muder of crows. Most of the others i've heard of too. Fast puzzle again. 123567894. Pretty much.

Cute Guy =P
 |  |

Well, I didn't time but that was quite easy today, I am a newbie, so it take me a little bit sometime
 |  |
Maen, all. Hey ap - how about a giggle of girls.
 |  |
Good Afternoon to all!

Cathy (S. Ont): I posted this link for Ed in Florida several days back. Gives a good review of digital cameras. Believe Nal in Miami orginally put this on the site... www.dpreview.com

AP--these are called terms of venery. You may want to find the book 'An Exaltation of Larks' which talks about many interesting, funny, and sometimes enchanting terms for groups of things.

 |  |
Good one Ian from Boston
 |  |
Ian (Sydney): You mentioned a winter in Kingston. What brought you to our country for a winter visit? Where you at RMC or Queens for some reason, or was it something else?
 |  |
Cathy in Canada, I recently bought the Fuji F11 and have been very impressed with it. Small, packed with features, excellent picture quality and it looks nice (which was a deciding factor for my wife).

Hugh in Canberra, bring it on. The Ashes are coming home! How about a thicket of Aussies?
 |  |
Greg - all you need to do to win the race is to put one of the Chippendales on the stern of your lean mean green racing machine, have him face aft and there's no way they will want to pass you. - Piece of cake......
 |  |
Gath, we need a new category, this time for lists of names of animals, etc.
 |  |

http://www.kith.org/logos/words/upper/V.html

name a collective noun: a garbage truck
 |  |
A Baz of curmudgeons
 |  |
Nick - Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you guys are going down. Last year was just a flash in the pan.....
 |  |
That's probably not a good winning recipe for CG, HUGH. Considering the persuasion of most of the Chippendales, it is HE that might be disturbed ... Stop that! ... I'm racing here! ... Leave me alone! ... Look at the girls, for goodness sakes! ...

Judy - I'm sure Greg can look after himself.
 |  |
Judy and Hugh: I'll have my hands full with Jen Hawkins (did I really just say that?).
 |  |
See Judy - Nothing to worry aboat, things are all in hand....

I knew I could rely on Greg,
 |  |
Celia - glad to know you arrived safely in Chile & have a nice place to stay while you are there. Will look for further updates on your activities.

UM football fans - just saw on my Earthlink news tickler that Bo Schembeckler collapsed at an interview yesterday & had to be taken to the hospital. Guess we're ALL getting nervous about the big game tomorrow!!! GO BLUE!
 |  |
Correction - it was at the taping of a TV interview today (Friday), not yesterday. Hope he'll be okay. Bo was a great UM coach for many years.
 |  |
I'm getting nervous, too, KATHY! But I probably shouldn't say that, because you shouldn't EVER let them see you sweat! You have a computer component that tickles you? Gotta get one of them! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 |  |
Hmm - seems like a few comments just got lost here??? I thought I saw Jim from Brandon, Mississippi's description of this day in history a few minutes ago. Where did it go?
 |  |
You're right, of course, HUGH. I'm sure that Greg can handle himself well enough.
 |  |
Judy - I didn't say that - I said he could look after himself....by the way Greg hows the eyesight!!!
