Okay. Slow day on the site, so a string of Irish jokes for you ...

Irish they were and drunk for sure and they sat in the comer of Mulligan's newly refurbished bar. Across the wall opposite was a huge mirror, fourteen feet long and stretching from floor to ceiling.
Glancing around the More...
18/Mar/07 5:15 AM
 |  |

Number 2:

'What was all the crashing and banging?' asked Mulligan.
'The train ran over a cow,' said the ticket collector.
'Was it on the line?' said Mulligan.
'No, we had to chase it up the embankment but we got it eventually,' said the railman.

Number 3:

Taking a wee break from the golf circuit, Tiger Woods drives his new BMW into an Irish gas station.
An attendant greets him in typical Irish manner, unaware who the golf pro is, 'Top o' the morning to ya'.
As Tiger gets out of the car, two tees fall out of his pocket. 'So More...

Number 4:

An Irishman went into a pizza parlour in Dublin.
The waiter said: 'Would you like you pizza cut in six of eight slices, sir?'
'Make it six, I don’t think I can eat eight.'

Number 5:

Murphy lay in hospital covered in bandages head to foot - with just two little slits for his eyes.
'What happened to you?' asked Cassidy.
'I staggered out of the pub and a lorry hit me a glancing blow and knocked me through a plate glass window.'
'Bejaysus,' said Cassidy. 'It's a good job you were wearing those bandages or you'd have been cut to ribbons!'

Lynn Dee, Yes, I too collected Beany Babies, although I've gotten rid of most of them too. I have three fav's sitting on my 'puter right now. Bruno the dog, Jabber the toucan, and wise, the owl. I still have all of my elephants and many of my dolls. Hubby would be happy if I got rid of them too, but its not going to happen...lol.

What's going on in the cricket??? Not only have Bangladesh whipped India but Ireland's looking good against Pakistan!! It's the world cup of minnows. If only the Rugby WC followed suit we'd see the Kiwis beaten by Georgia and the Wallabies whipped by Namibia! Now wouldn't that be something!

Billy, when wearing my new green contacts I can't read menus, so have, today, bought a pair of diamond (well crystal, actually glass) studded reading specs. Not quite up to the standard of the Australian Royal Personage Dame Edna, but sparkly all the same. What sort of chain or ribbon should I get to dangle them around my elegant neck.

I learned the real story behind St. Patricks today, We, Presbyterian, were all told the wrong story. Check it out. He was an Wales teenager taken to Ireland and made to be a slave sheepherder . A dream told him to escape back to Wales. Later a dream told him to return as a missionary back to Ireland.
