ANGELA: I would gladly fork out $8 for a dozen tamales!! Especially homemade ones -- please FedEx me a box! I'm running right out to get some Corona to go with. In the event that yours get eaten before you have a chance to send them to me, would you consider sharing your recipe? Please and thank you?

OldHickory - Many good thoughts & prayers are with you & Betsy. There are so many forms of leukemia. My friend was diagnosed last year with CML, & she is responding very well to a drug called Gleevec. I hope your wife will find a successful treatment, too.

Time is drawing near for our 2nd annual SA Meeting in Florida! Hopefully, Suzanne from Seattle has arrived in Punta Gorda where we will meet up with her at the Celtic Ray at 6:00 PM. We are taking our laptop and will try to connect to the site sometime during the evening. All are welcome to join us!! Maybe we will be surprised???

The pretty but perfectly pathetic pachycephalosaurus played pool poorly, put pounds (and lost) on the philocubist playing poker dice, and pouted (party pooper!).

 |  |

OldHickory; please know that Betsy and you are in my prayers. I know it doesn't seem like much but I (personally) have found that even one prayer goes a long way.
Where in SC do you live?
 |  |
I didn't read yesterday's comments, but I gather that Betsy needs all our best wishes and I'm sure that truckloads have been delivered from Oz.
Went into the chatroom, but just missed Ian and Anne and am fed up with talking to myself, so thought I'd post a 'hi' to everyone and then get on with More...

OldHickory-I continue to pray for Betsy and you. A friend who had Leukemia. Not trying to be nasty, but if prayer did work, then almost everyone who ever lived, especially the good ones, would still be alive... surely? and if it's God's will that they aren't, then what's the point of prayer?
 |  |
I hope all who are getting together for the 2nd annual SA meeting in Florida have a great time.
 |  |
How's the teddy bear doing?
 |  |

 |  |
ASPCA-the teddy bear is still as good as new and they still continue to spend time together daily!
 |  |
LynnDee, I guess you suppose anyone who has suffered loss is not sufficiently religious enough. That is a very nasty judgement on people, don't you think?
