Day 5 and unfortunately no Sammi. We had a very subdued evening and neither of us is in the mood for anything much. I have walked the surrounds of the village again today to no avail. At least Jasper and I are getting a lot of exercise, even in the rain.

I once actually locked my baby (in her car seat) in the car. The only person to stop, or to show any concern at all, was a rough, biker type teenage boy. He got the door open with a coat hanger, bless him.

I told the officers. . . any 16 year old would have my car open in no time. . . still, they didn't try.

The most 'amusing' part was finding out later that hubby was on the South side of the bridge (very tall bridge) talking to a Metro-Dade officer while I was on the North side talking to a couple of Miami officers. I guess the City and the County don't talk to each other.
