Hi Jim. Good to see you. My highlight bird for this year was a juvenile bald eagle at Flamingo (Everglades Nat. Park) Had a semi-heated e-mail argument with someone that insisted in changing it to a golden eagle. . . I'm proud to say, after getting someone loads more knowledgeable involved in the ID argument, I won!

Loads to do today,starting with trying to hide 2inches of gray hair (too bad I could not change it into brain gray matter. I seem to be lacking on that)
Got our first Christmas dinner tonight. Our family seems to be sprouting all these rug-rats and I'm in seventh heaven. They all love to have More...

We are very lucky indeed being able to regularly see here photos from, in particlar You, Jim, and Ian - and also --- well! Watch your backs! There are other contenders too! I am especially lucky because like wild fauna and fauna pictures.

Oh nal what wonderful photographs. All twelve are fantastic - and, of course, I will be finishing the song with 'and a heron on a dead tree' for the rest of the festive season!!!

We have about a foot of snow and it's still coming down like crazy! WOW.

We're just getting cold rain here.

1:40, Just sitting here recovering from my 22km training run before I get on with the day. Probably off geocaching with my sons when they're up/fed/dressed.

I've been back to bed while you've been running, Chris - a much more traditional Sunday occupation!!

Unfortunately the long Sunday run will be a tradition, albeit not a long-standing tradition, for the next four months or so leading up to the Canberra Marathon CP.

Okay, you cruise and I'll snooze!!!

I have three teenage nieces sacked out on my couches after half the day working in the Madrona Marsh preserve. I'm sure they're going to revive when their uncle takes them to the theatre to watch Avatar.

In the Christmas spirit, Angry Ant, several years ago, gave me the recipe and directions to make this Rocky Road Christmas Tree. My family feasted on it and loved it. Thanks again, Angry Ant. Wish you'd come by and say Hi once in a while. Happy Holidays.

On page 21 of my Flickr Photostream are several pictures of the family scarf of the Rocky Road Christmas Tree. It happened Christmas, 2006.

I've thought that that recipe and the one for Stottish Scrawberries should both be in the recipe book. Neither one of them are. Guess that's my fault.
