I know you don't want to hear about my strike, but tough! Our union went to the admin requesting a smaller salary increase. The admin said their last offer was their last offer and either we take it or leave it! So, we continue to walk the line.

I don't think the president of the college More...

The old joke! (I think I messed it up a bit, but you get the idea)

The parts of the body decided they needed a president. The brain and the heart both believe they would be the best president. The brain says 'I'm the brain and I control everything in the body, so I should be president'. The More...

To GrannieMo, Fernwood Tonight was a spoof talk show that started in 1977. Here's a comment on the 'leisure suit' test. Actually, what does it matter what holes you might have in your education – or in your head – with guests like the ones who appear on “Fernwood Tonight,” such as the doctor More...

Hugh: Since you're always posting jokes, hope this is one you haven't seen before:

Two guys wandered into a bar. One of the men shouted to the barkeeper,'Hiya, Mike. Set 'em up for me and my pal here.'
Then he turned to his slightly dim partner and boasted, 'This is a great bar. For More...

Since we're talking bar jokes...

Once upon a time in the old west a dog walked into a bar asking for a beer. 'We don't serve your kind!' said the barkeep.

'Give me a beer' insisted the dog.

'I said, we don't serve your kind here, now get out or I'll shoot ya!' said the More...

A little late for Patty's day but...

John O'Reilly hoisted his beer and said, 'Here's to spending the rest of me life between the legs of me wife!'

An 80 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting. When she went before the judge in Cincinnati he asked her, 'What did you steal?' She replied, 'A can of peaches.' Just listening to some of the soft rock hits of the 80's and 90's.
Air Supply, Toto, The Cars, America, Chicago, Phil Collins, Bonnie Tyler, Meat Loaf, Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Bread, Boz Scaggs, The Doobie Bros, Bryan Adams, Don McLean, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner and heaps more.
Anyone else in that era??

Rosemary, I think you got some decades mixed. A lot of these artists had their best work in the 70's. I believe Bread broke up in the early 70's.

Rosemary....I am a child of the 80's as well :) (I'm in my late 30's) so my major music influence was from the 80's.

That list is a little after my time too, rosemary, though I enjoyed some of those folks. My wife and I just recently saw Boz Scaggs perform. He still puts on a great show.
