I barely made it to the garden gate, sneakers laced up, when the rain came down. So I'll join Shiela at the pool for a mai tai in some sunnier place.

from So. Oregon. 8AM 58° - beautiful blue sky (not a cloud or smoke - fires out) headed to 97°. Last night at 8PM it was in the 80's.

Well, I missed the photographic opportunity this morning. By the time we left for our afternoon walk the skies were clear blue, the siun shining and the temperature suddenly in the mid 20's C. I expect there will be other foggy mornings.

Good idea Jill - the fancy boy with the paper umbrella and the pool drinks.
I hope there are no coconuts on the trees to bomb the sunbathers. Bathing under one of those could be suicidal.

A 105 year old lady is seeing a doctor for the first time. He examines her very carefully and can find no evidence that she had ever been sick. Towards the end of the exam, he asked her if she had ever been bedridden to which she replied:
"Oh, hundreds of times....and twice in a buggy."
