I haven't been on the site in awhile. Can you remove that obnoxious blinking advertisement to the left of the puzzle?

It completed destroys my enjoyment of the site.

3:15 not bad for me.

Lots of nice comments today from a lot of people who don't post comments on a regular basis. Most of the people (excluding spammers) on this site seem to have great personalities and all have valued opinions to offer. It's unfortunate that sometimes people take comments too personally, but for the More...

We had some snow fall today nothing stuck to the ground too much today though. I like the picture of the cat fishing in the fish bowl. Mine likes to watch the fish in the fish bowl too.
 |  |
I assume that when you say your cat 'likes to watch the fish in the fish bowl', your cat is not exactly trying to lower its blood pressure or contemplating the wonders of nature; more likely hoping for a delicious treat...?

Hello Mariane and Judi - the puzzle changes over here at 10:00pm so I do the puzzles for about an hour before going to bed. When Victoria goes onto daylight saving I will be able to have earlier nights because we don't have it, so new puzzles will be 9:00pm for me. AND I hope we never do have More...

not sure the exact day but it was back in May 2005 for me which I think was pretty close to the start. Back then we had no special aids like 'remove automatic possibilites' etc etc and there was no comments back at the start. once these things were added they went right back through the More...

To judy from UK: You mentioned a UFO sighting, which has me curious. You're probably asleep by now (10.35am Aust. EST), but can you tell us more when you're around next? A couple of family members had a very strange, unexplained experience some years ago.
Daylight saving starts here next weekend More...

Onions And Christmas Trees

A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father, ' Dad, how many kinds of boobies are there?'
The Father, surprised answers, 'Well son, there are three kinds of breasts.
In her 20s, a woman's breasts are like melons, round and firm. In her 30s More...

Keith, I just got around to reading the comments. I like the new Dylan album, I'm looking forward to seeing him on this tour. I drove to Miami and back today. Nine hours total listening to 8 Dylan CD's. Made the trip a pleasure. Do you like Govt. Mule? If not you ought to.

Andrè,the cake is delicious. You can smell the chocolate and the taste is incredible! It is so rich, I can only eat a little at a time, and my hubby doesn't eat chocolate. Wish you were here, or someone else that could really appreciate it. I'm going to have to freeze the remainder so I don't waste it!

Hello, all, and good night. I just got back from a massage, felt too good to grade papers, so I worked the Easy and read comments. Now off to bed so I can get up and get to work about 5:45 and grade papers.
Great fall weather in Texas this week.

GIFTS FOR TEACHER
It was the end of the school year, and a Kindergarten teacher was receiving gifts from her pupils. The florist's son handed her a gift. She shook it, held it overhead, and said, 'I bet I know what it is? Flowers.' 'That's right' the boy said, 'but how did you know?' 'Oh, More...

So if you get 1.45, does it take you that long to solve it, or is that how it takes to copy in the solution once you already solved it?
 |  |
to FRY from Canada - speaking for myself, that's how long it takes from start to finish with no help. A bit longer on medium but I use help if I do the hard and tough.

Good maeN. 2:04 best time ever :) My birthday is Nov 1.

to Suzanne - sorry I'm late.

Happy Anniversary to the Ants,

Good mAen all! Anne from Albany, about daylight saving, ath the moment here in SA sunrise is 05.21 and sunset 18.39. I work 9-5 so if I finish work, drive home (45 minutes) this leaves me 15 minutes of daylight. Love daylight saving, go home, relax in the garden - at the height of summer it's light until 9.30 pm. Bit hard if you have little kids but for night owls like me, it's great.
 |  |
Hello Patmac - we have tried it over here on two occassions, I think it was, and either time it was a trial and only lasted the one year. Most people were glad to go back to normal hours.
 |  |
I love it when daylight saving comes in for the southerners as it means changeover for the puzzle is 11pm here in Brisbane and sometimes I am still up.
