When i logged in and saw there were just 45 posts, I thought "should have gone straight to pooter on getting up, could have had topp of both p1 and p2". But I see that that happened at 0531, so a rush to the pooter would have been futile anyway!

So, I had a nice cuppa with Mr P instead, before he went to work - his first official day back after 5 weeks holiday leave.

He was like a kid reluctantly heading off for the first day back at school. Complaining about having to wear a suit and tie......

Never mind, it had to happen some time!!

My husband didn't complain about going to work until he was in his seventy's. Then it was because he had to shovel out the sawdust so he could get to the lathe.

all! I didn't stop by yesterday, Australia Day. Had a great picnic with friends and a swim in the river (well several actually) to cool off!

1st day back at work after 3 weeks off. I'm actually the proud owner of a nice sun tan. Who would of thought that possible in Melbourne. lol

What is a hall monitor - some kind of lizard?

Don't know if you were in editing seclusion when Gath instigated the Hall Monitor, rayray. He/she is meant to monitor the jokes that some of us find offensive, and abusive nasty posts between folks....
In the USA, at schools, someone is appointed the Hall Monitor to keep a check on behaviour in hallways between classes - a prefect in UK terms (a goody-goody or a snitch in some folks' terms!).

I'm off to embark on a an afternoon full of medical appointments - the joys of growing older and falling to bits!!!!!
