Aileen, so glad to see you here!

Darwen Jim, nice to see you back!

Regarding Col's request for folks to use "bcc" instead of "to" when sending e-mails to more than one person, following is an e-mail I got awhile back that pretty much lists all the "do's and don't's" of e-mail forwarding. Think of it as a "refresher" course More...

PART II:

(5) Have you ever gotten an email that is a petition? It states a position and asks you to add your name and address and to forward it to 10 or 15 people or your entire address book. The email can be forwarded on and on and can collect thousands of names and email addresses. A More...

Stella - thanks! He's sitting on the screened porch right now reading the Finantial Times. We're having an extremely warm February 26th (nearly 80 degrees), and it's pouring out. I hope the fresh air does him good. I also hope the tornado warnings go away soon!

I am in mourning for our dearly departed non-members and alter egos, I am sorely aggrieved…but through some funny stuff I did with chicken bones and limp celery I find I am now a ‘medium’

What do you recommend for a stuffed head?
27/Feb/08 8:07 AM
 |  |

A stuffed head is a stuffed head, no hope except for a padded cell, but if you mean congested...I would recommend a head over a sink of hot hot water with that pongy stuff in it (eucalyptus? friars balsam? vicks vapour rub?), towel over the head and then some deep inhalations, preferably avoiding drowning...hope this helps...

Jane: Be sure that the hanger on the wall is quite sturdy - and throughly into a stud, before you hang it.

Thanks, billy. Now, if you charged for your services, I could say: "Agh, 'you clipped us' but good!"

Eve - you're a little early with your suggestion. I actually think he's going to pull through this time.

A stuffed head must be chosen carefully. If the glass eyes are of a certain type, they will seem to follow you around the room. If you are the least bit paranoid, this can be unsettling.

I have a stuffed head, it fits perfectly, bolted down (oiled regularly and tightened once a week), I found the mouth piece a bit strange at first as I gagged rather than breathed but with the help of medication and the extremely comfortable padded cell I have adjusted. (I share bunks with billy and apart from the celery beatings for which she is being treated for, we get along just fine)...

I just realized what happened yesterday. I agree that it is very sad that it has come to this. I also feel that this site is worth being a member, either free or supporting, in order to post a comment. Come on and sign up friends, and join us.

Gath - Thank you for taking good care of us!

Interesting that a post from the first page was deleted. Are we now seeing more strict monitoring of comments?

I'm with those who will miss those who choose not to become members, but not those who caused the problem in the first place. Some of the comments were just plain rotten. It's a high cost though and, without having seen how bad it got yesterday, I wonder if it's worth it?

I know which end I prefer Mo, but then it's a personal choice - you bertie? Jane, GA - I only got 60% - does that make me unobservant?

I'm all for the leafy end whilst beating but sometimes its interchangeable like my singing... we are only fed on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday so you have to make the most of it... I never have it stewed though, makes a frightful mess, billy will vouch for that, she had to take double tablet strength!

I've always wondered. Which end of a head of celery do you stuff? And how does one stalk a limp celery? Don't bother answering. Just leaf me to my ponderings.

OK everyone, as soon as Shar comes on site we need the party to start - have your party hats, whistles and poppers at the ready. Jump out and yell "Surprise"! This is a big day for her (shhhh - the big 40). Crates of wine, chocolates and nibblies are, as we speak being delivered on site More...

sounds like he is being a 'male' and is too blokey to go to the doctor
they say 7-10 days is about as long as you should try to get over something then should be checked out by a doctor.
hope he is feeling better soon or I would be a bit suss that he was just enjoying all the attention.

A stuffed head makes a great clock if it has a talking time-piece hidden in its mouth. However avoid putting a cuckoo time-piece inside a bear's head. That would be incongruous. A barking time-piece inside a stuffed wolf's head would be marginally acceptable. Dinosaur's heads make fine ornaments but as clocks they tend to be rather noisy.

Good mEan everyone! I haven't been able to stop in and chat much the last several days so I'm sorry if I've missed anyones speacial occassion, I hope it was great! It seems that I missed something yesterday, or did I? It's too bad that Gath had to take such strong measures but it is his house and he is a good host. I hope that our non-members decide to join us again.

It has been snowing here all day and the roads are pretty crappy to say the least. I just came back into the office to have dinner and stay for the rest of my shift. It was a whiteout when I came in and is supposed to keep snowing overnight.

Good Morning everyone.

Thank you all for the huge amount of well wishes, chocolate, cake, and grog I was sent. I will delight in devouring it all.

Check out my home page which I updated just for today. I awoke to quite a nasty surprise - after the kids got off my belly.
All said on the page.

Let's Party...
