Just so everybody knows, and for those who might care but don't remember: I stopped by André's place while she was abroad to make sure everything was ok, i.e. the iron was off, there were no faucets dripping, the mail hadn't gotten too deep and all the windows were shut. I had the moose with More...

Hi all! Just been reading the posts over the last couple of days and saw I almost inherited André's daft fish! Came over all funny for a minute. André you keep that fish, I don't want it, especially as it's now an alcoholic.

Ok, here's the Venus riddle answer -
The Reids choose to stay one year and win $2 million. Venus takes 243 Earth days to rotate on its axis, but it takes 225 Earth days to go around the sun. On Venus a day is longer than a year.

Oh my gawd Jeb! The moose is still loose????? I'll ask the RCMP to approach the French gendarmes and seek their assistance. I'm quite surprised it hasn't shown up at Fiona's or Mo's place yet. I've kind of wondered though who that mystery 'cyclist' was in the Tour de France....

Heidi, do I understand that you are bringing home a llama? Just the one?
28/Jul/08 6:10 AM

Yep, just the one. I need a guard Llama for my sheep. My previous Llama passed away about 3 months ago, and the predators are starting to go after my lambs again. I can't use guard dogs because the Collies would NEVER stop barking at it. I won't use a Donkey again after a disastrous experience More...

Jeb and CG: the reason the moose took off like that was the idea of drinking Moosehead beer out of an aluminum can!!!! Bottles are the only way to drink beer, esp. Moosehead! (Although aluminum cans are much better for the environment, as they can be endlessly recycled.)

Heidi, around here there are lots of alpaca farms, and llamas are sometimes used to guard the alpacas. I love llamas, they're so cute!
