I give up. You are probably doing what I should be doing - playing house - I have filled my Vaparetto ready to go but I have to go vacuum first and my excuse is it will wake Steven........
I know he should be up, but it is so peaceful Me, Houpette (snoring by my feet) and Sammi (learning that the cursor cannot be caught)

G'mo I like the term'Matches, Hatches and Dispatches'
and it would need to be controlled !!
otherwise it becomes out of hand with tooo many posts .. which should be directed to EASY or MEMBERS pages.
A dedicated 'Notice Board' does not mean it cant be announced on Easy page as it is now !!

Played house this morning Mo..
I did ask for volunteers on the SA page for a 'cleaning maid' !!
unfortunately for me no one volunteered, and I ended up doing the 'cleaning maid' job !!!

Agreed, Rolanda, and then a one liner posted to the notice board for all to read. There could be updates on condition etc. all comments continue on easy and SA but absentees could find a quick precis of the happenings.

I was thinking we could also use it to announce extended times away from the site, to save us wondering about where X is. Heidi, I think Rolanda expressed it perfectly. The easy pages comments aren't where people will see it the quickest. I'm thinking a block like the birthday one would be best, More...

It always falls to me too but it is dificult as we are still living amongst packing cases. I have to get something sorted as SiL and husband arrive next weekend to celebrate Steven becoming an OAP. This was planned for new house as Phil loves making and fixing and I had him lined up for the kitchen! Oh well the best laid plans and all that.

oh the joys of moving.. packing cases/boxes..

so Steven is becoming a OAP!!! it will be soon..

Susan, I agree, maybe under the timer clock or something similar.
Ooops, Sammi just found out you can't attack moths through a window, hope his nose doesn't hurt too much.

I often think back and nobody told me that one day I'd find myself sleeping with an OAP!!!

I suppose I ought to drag myself from here and walk around and pick up all the things Sammi has either knocked from high places or played football with.
GOOD NEWS (sorry to shout) I found my memory stick Sammi had knocked it right under the record deck so I will do some recording today - where More...

I can relate to that Mo..
the rain and washing machines.
Delightful Rainy day here today, I think the rain is going to be hanging around for the week.
good thing I have my washing line undercover !!

Rolanda, he goes back next week. I will miss my taxi! Plus he is so well house trained, can cook, wash, iron, clean etc. (and does so happily). One day some daughter-in-law will thank me. If only I could convince Son #2 of the advantages of learning early!!!!
28/Jul/08 6:35 PM
 |  |

Susan my #1 boy is the same.. well house Trained!!.. his girlfrendd is just discovering how well!!
So is #2, but not to the same extend - hates to cook, so he doesnt try, unless forced to because mum and big brother arent there to do it for him !!

girlfrendd = girlfriend of course !!!
28/Jul/08 6:56 PM

well guess I'd better put on the Cook Hat and think about the flinging of food..
The tribe will be demanding to be fed this eve!!

I suppose, if everyone used their vaccuum cleaner at the same time, the consequent low air-pressure would cause a hurricane. Seeing as G-Mo is going to vaccuum today. I'll put off my effort until; say; tomorrow.

too late for me Ray, mine was used this morning !!
remind me next week before I use it again.

Regarding the palatability of purple sand: The sea is pure honey and imparts a flavour - there is nothing salty about it. The purple sand is a bit like ground-up blackcurrant fruit drops. Gravelly texture - but melts in the mouth; sends the taste buds into frenzied ectasy; sterilises the tonsils; but, unfortunately rots the teeth (or in my case; tooth).
28/Jul/08 7:11 PM
 |  |

Oh! Rolanda is well on top of her vaccuum-ing; so there!!!!
Do we all need to be sucked into her enthusiasm? - or, is she the sucker?

2:20 to you all.

Rayray, does this mean the sand is like the sherbet we had as kids or like the moondust our kids had. I only once let my son persuade me to put moondust on my tongue I thought my head would explode.
I much prefer the idea of Ribena coloured, honey flavoured, melting moments of sherbet-like sand More...

Phew, have just caught up with the 'Easy' pages.
Good idea about a page for 'Hatches, Matches & Despatches".
Realise many people do not have the time to read everything so that would make it easier for them.

I am doing the boss's job today and tomorrow - but have not had much sitting in the office time today. And now, I'm off home, and will leave her keyboard upside down to drain out the little drink of water I gave it just a while ago.

You just got to hope she hadn't dropped any little seeds in there. Her keyboard may start sprouting.....

OK G-Mo; I have waved my 'magic wand' (double entendre fully intended), and adjusted the fizzy-fine texture, precise colour tone (using only natural colouring agents, and flavour (without use of MSG) of the beach sand to accomodate your exact requirements.
