Hey Jamie..I can go along with that....but you know that the cowboys are a team that we love to hate!!! So on that day...we'll just have to hope the better team wins.....and of course I think the EAGLES will always be the better team....

June, if you are running Win95 you can restart in DOS mode and run the DOS defragger, this will not have the continual 'restart' thing, this also works for many Win98 machines but not all.
'Restart in DOS mode'.
type "defrag c:"
when finished type "exit"

June, Win95&98 had some bugs, one of these is when a system command is run the icons on the desktop are arranged by name, not a lot you can do about this.

June, the daylight savings time thing, win95&98 probably have no data for daylight savings times for any years in the future, maybe this is the first year it ran out of data! Not completely sure of this though.

Will be amased at how fast the new computer is when you get it June, you will think 'how did I put up with that old thing so long'.

But June you did same a lot of money by not upgrading, good optimization.

Judy, I'm so glad to see you posting. I was away for a week and couldn't get near a computer. I was very concerned and hoped you and Mr J were OK and not affected by the fires.

All of you football fans - I understand that Trinity won their game Saturday on the LAST PLAY that had 15 LATERAL PASSES (7 players handled the ball). This beats Cal's "THE PLAY" against Stanford many years ago (as they lateraled several times and ran through the craziest Band in Football-Stanford's ) - to win.

BTW If I have 9:05 PM and Sudoku Time is 1:05 PM. That is 16 hours (24-8) different before time change'd in Australia it was 17 hours different (24-7). JANE...I think vdV's comments re computer are for you. My advise is if you computer is giving problems is to make sure you have everyting backed up on discs etc so that if it gives up the ghost at least you have not lost important information. I thought we had everything backed up but when down loaded onto the new computer I had lost all my Email address.

Happy birthday to GrannieMo and Kat. No time to do the puzzle or read comments. Just wanted to let you all know we're back home safe and sound after a wonderful trip. We pulled into the driveway after midnight, and I've got just about enough energy to go to bed. I'll work on getting some pictures on Flickr when I can.

Jane, even if you didn't actually put through a microsoft fix, they usually go through automatically so that by now, your computer will have the correct dates for DST. Don't know about the icons though! Mine get changed once in a while and I just blame the kids.
