Indicate which comments you would like to be able to see
28 supporting members out of 123 sudoku commentaries, Hmmmmm.

WMEB - I shouldn't rise to this - not being a Supporting Member etc, but the 123 comments aren't made by 123 different people - Nal made heaps, Baz a zillion and Beehive hasn't really got going yet...
 |  |

Billy: Glad you liked it.

 |  |
Mavs and Heat.
 |  |
Billy I'm sure both you and beehive are both just great, however please give it a rest telling us, cos frankly most of us don't care.
 |  |
Ian - not sure if I got it though! I am pondering on it.
 |  |

Billy: I count three comments by Baz and four by you.

 |  |
To BP: I can tell you why. It's so simple. Parents who won't take responsibility for their kids, television and movies that demean authority, and drugs. Plus, due to fear of being sued or being shot or a myriad of other things, schools no longer demand respect and they don't get it. So you see, More...

B.P/Brisbane, You just won't leave well enough alone! You ask a question and plead for an answer.... ok, The reason is....too many of the young, impressionable, minds are distorted by lessons learned from narrow-minded, self-righteous folks like you! Grow up. A lesson for the future- those who More...

Chris/ACT - well you've just made a liar out of Mamacita's posting on what a 'fun-loving lot' we are - sorry Marlene.

Ian - I am prone to slight exaggeration, 'zillion' I'll agree was a bit OTT

Mamacita,
Good evening to you. Nice of you put such a sweet smell over all the manure.
 |  |
2:36
nice flowers
 |  |
...and now for something completely different: Anyone seen Tommly Lee Jones', 'The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada'? Fabulous movie, best film I've seen all year.
 |  |
MAMACITA: You go, Girl! A voice of reason amidst the chaos ...

STEPH: Well said.
 |  |
Ed, Good evening to you. Hope you enjoyed the game. As far as adding a sweet smell, I find it difficult to cover so much pure stink. I wish those who disagree would do so without being so disagreeable. Billy, If you recall, I also told Marlene to expect anything, and she would not be disappointed. More...

Hey Judy, Did I tell you or did I tell you! lol Hope you had a great day. I'll be in touch. Peace Out!

I bow in awe to you, MAMACITA. You definitely are the Master!

Not all Western children today are less literate than their parents. Many of us delight in the way our children have 'outgrown' us in their school learning and behaviours- going on to excel at school, university or in their chosen career or lifestyle.

There certainly are also children More...

However, to expect teachers to be take over the responsibility of families, communities, society and Governments, is asking a little too much don't you think?

In stead of throwing blame, we’d all be better off praying for some divine guidance in getting our society and families back on track.
 |  |
Steph and Mamacita, I note that while I was writing my little 'essay', you had both addressed the issue. As you say .. Peace be with you.
 |  |
And who started all these stupid self serving lawsuits - you goddamned yanks. And who is following hard on their heels - the rest of the stupid goddamed world.
 |  |
BP if you start an avalanche of 'aren't we great' posts then you will not only be kept in after school, you will write out 100 times, chalkies are the greatest. Doo that agen an u wil get the cuts or the roolr ovr yr nuckles. Can I join the Sisterhood, my second name is Susan.
 |  |
Now that is a statement that I certainly agree with!It was also presented in a positive manner. We have nothing to lose by working together, but by continually fighting just to prove a point, everyone becomes a loser. I like the win-win situation better. There is more than enough blame to go More...

BP, all I can say is well said !!
 |  |
Billy, I agree, good movie. May I reccomend L'enfant, United 93 and Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. I also liked Thank You For Smoking. On the tele Rescue Me, back for a third season.

Music, If you want is expand your mind a bit try these. The Raconteurs, lead by Jack White (White Strips) album More...

and I have just proof read my little essay (a little too late) and apologise for the gramatical errors.
 |  |
I see the need to make clear that the statement I agree with is BP's last posting about education. It has been said that fools will always make themselves known, and we can see the truth in that with the posting by Isobel. While she may or may not be a fool,( I don't know her) her posting is certainly foolish, in my not so humble opinion!
 |  |
Jasus. Ed comes out for Mamacita, who is soooo luverly that Kathy and Judy and Amma (the list goes on) etc do too. Baz and beehive root for each other and now Billy has joined to make it a threesome.I don't have anything interesting to say, but please God isn't there someone out there who does? (rhetorical question).
 |  |
to all Susans: Happy to see we have a sisterhood!
As for the teacher debate, I feel we are all teachers, and all students in life. A parent is a teacher, but we learn from our kids and from each other. I've raised 3 sons who are all honourable and contributing members of society. (They even More...

Sorry Fi, I foolishly attributed that wonderful essay to BP. I wondered when the other shoe was going to drop! Its late and I should have been in bed a while back. Its my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!! Have a great Night/Day where ever you may be.
 |  |
to ? Haven't heard of United 93 or Thank you for Smoking. I'm looking forward to The Ten Canoes which hasn't been released as yet. Enjoyed Tsotsi - won best Foreign film. Shall look out for your music recommendations. Are you going to a Stones concert? A friend has managed to get tickets to see them but I can't remember which european country he has to fly to! - a fair way from Oz either way.

J/B from Chicago, You are so Right!!!!

Mamacita -Well answering for Isobel, as apparently she is not going too, I found her posting quite amusing, while I find your postings quite cloying. If anyone disagrees with the clutch of teachers on this site, you all come out swinging. If the cap fits wear it,conversely, if it doesn't, don't.I think Isobel was trying to lighten things up. Instead of calling her a fool, why don't you lighten up.

To Steph from Kansas, and others: Of course it is society, you're right.

But for several days, the chatrooom has been subjected to the preening and whinging of teachers, ex-teachers, retired teachers and spouses of teachers about their intellectual and moral superiority, their nobility and More...

Mamacita, Keep fighting the fight. Peace to you and yours.

jb, You are correct. You have nothing to say.

Billy, United 93 is a 9/11 film, so may have much more interest in the USA. Thank You For Smoking was a sensation at Sundance and at the Toronto Film Festival. Satire on how everything is for sale. Best comedy this year. I am not usually big on comedy's, but liked this one.
 |  |
Thanks Nal, Judy, Jeana and Mamacita for all your good wishes for Dad.

Fi your statement is so true. Like the story earlier, when family and community don't do their part kids slip between the cracks and then your society and Governments step in and the jails fill up. All in the name of freedom to do things my way.
