Thanks GannieMo! I am much better at French than Italian (I learned the former for 5 years and the latter for 2; I also learned Italian before I learned French so French almost totally subsumed it). Just have tomorrow at home before Mr P and I fly to Adelaide early Wednesday to board The Ghan to head to Darwin. We have four days off the train in Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon before continuing on the train journey. THen we have about 5 days in Darwin before I have a conference - at which stage Mr P will fly home, and I'll fly home when the conference has ended.

Amazing. Get the kiddo to stop TALKING for 30 seconds and she passes out. Has taken me nearly an hour since the relevant post to achieve the requisite 30 seconds without cdonverwsation however. If talking ws an Olympic sport etc etc ...

That would be 'conversation' I believe. I am certain there is a finite amount of language the human brain can process in any given day and I frequently find myself beyond my capabilities by the evening.

Kate, darling, dear, I do sleep every once in a while. I attempted 3 naps yesterday, all failures. Last night looked promising, I do not think I woke up, but there was a whole lot of tossing and turning and protests were coming from within.
