Whew! Survived 51 third graders in the Aquarium sleepover!
All were in sleeping bags by 11 PM. Didn't have to scold anyone because I told them that if I had to get up to shush them, I would remove them from their friends and put them in the back near me! I told them I snored loudly!!!

The kids were scandalized and the parents were giving me the high 5 sign! Well those who weren't trying to guffaw out loud!

Really we had a great time learning about the ocean and its denizens. The kids loved the bioluminescent activity. They paired up deciding upon what color glow stick and where and how they would wear or hold them. Then we split them and have them enter the exhibit hall in different doors.

The lights were turned off and the kids walked (am I proud of them for remembering to walk!) around by the light of their glow sticks looking for their partners. They found each other with a whoop of joy and then we told them bed time!

Sounds like you and the kids had a good time last night Shosho. I did an overnight trip with Girl Scouts many, many years ago at the zoo. Also fun, but walking around the zoo at night ... oh my, we heard some wild sounds.

Mari: Are you sure the wild sounds didn't come from the Girl Scouts?
