We too, Mamacita 2; Tutu - the Great Bishop.
It's the 'cita' that's puzzling.
Down with Widdecombe and all bigots!
There's more to the world than hyperspace and Scots.
Whoops! Don't take too much notice of the rhythm.

Jamie. You had better watch out!
There is a nemesis.
I am up awfully late, yes - and; fortunately; the local Council do not have power to contain me from expressing my opinions. I did not turn the page: somebody before me did that.

Jamie:
Who left it, for you, to leave it, to me, to turn?

Rayray, I don't think much of Guantanamo Bay....It is a disgrace to hold human beings in captivity, without trial. If they are indeed terrorist...try them and met out the toughest sentences possible...if they aren't let them go....some of them have been there for six years with no charges being More...

Nctee have a great one, have a daughter celebrating with you today! How does everyone get time for all this sudoku chatter. By time I have looked at all games, struggle to find time to read all comments! Do you meed to be a night owl or an early bird (worm catcher) to keep up with all this?

Oh Mamacita 2; your news is honey. I began to think that the good old yankee stalward was extinct.
But then, when I look around me, I maybe begin to think that the trend to extinction is true.

I hate to be a "post-and-run" type person, but I just got back from my party, came in to turn off the computer and found the following e-mail which I felt I had to post.

I believe that is true - which is - that suspects have been held without reason. Yes.
Bush has an agenda - nothing has stood in his way.
Mere peasants, without the support of oil and gas gambling of futures, are mere pawns.
Well, Bush chose the wrong people. Britain thinks the Moslems are OK.

Sometimes, I suppose, happy families are not the place for dear children.
But, I suppose, it depends on what you mean by 'children'; and definitions have become compromised. Children need to part from their parents and become independent, and; for them; that is a traumatic period of individual history.

Rayray - what the Bush administration has been perpetrating does NOT have the support of the majority of the American people. That's why so many Republicans were ousted in the last election. Unfortunately, there are not many viable options in the Democratic party, so we are in a quagmire. To be More...

Jane/St. Simons Island, GA

I fill my hand soap dispenser with cheap dishwashing liquid from the local dollar store.

Since hubby is allergic to perfumes, these have a mild smell and get the job done.

I use all natural cleaners (baking soda, vinegar, borax, etc.) instead of More...

Rayray, Many here were lulled into a false sense of security for awhile, but more and more voices are being raised about the way we are viewed around the world since Bush has held office....there is a countdown to Jan.20,2009 when he leaves office. I just hope the voters in the U S take heed to the More...

Becky - good for you! We do much the same. We also recycle, and I am flabbergasted that there are only a few families in our neighborhood that do. One of our local supermarkets recycles styrofoam egg cartons and meat trays, so we not only recycle what the county picks up but also what can be More...

Re Guantanamo
There was one Aussie there (caught with the Taliban). After about 5 years and a lot of diplomatic wrangling he was finally tried and convicted then deported to an Aussie jail to complete his sentence. I'm glad he got out of Guantanamo, BUT he will be out of jail after Christmas, More...

Has she told anyone why she does this?

What I never understood was why anyone would want plastic bags for their groceries. They are made of a petroleum product, they do NOT disentigrate and are not recycleable. I alway use paper bags at the store to pack my groceries. Plastic ones & canvas bags just roll around in the back of my More...

Rayray - what kind of chemicals is she spraying?

Can you get someone to measure the parts per million for you of anything that may be dangerous to your health?

Have you considered frying onions and garlic in as a reply to her odorous sprays.

Eve, I keep 2 empty boxes in my trunk to hold my groceries in. I use the paper bags as liners, also. But, I have so many that I don't want to bring any more into the house. The groceries around here have recycle bins for used plastic bags. I use empty chip bags for food waste. I plan my trips More...

At Winco, you pack your own groceries. I'm glad to do it, I can get more into a bag, and pack what should go together in the same bag and usually end up with 1/2 the bags that they would and very little plastic (just for vegies, meat & Ice Cream). When I get a box of bags (about a year), I More...

Martha, our community have groups that volunteer to pick up trash along the roads/highways.

Right after 9/11, a lot of people had a knee-jerk reaction. Since the US economy stayed stable, this died down. Now that everything seems to going down the drain, it's starting again. I believe More...
