BIG NEWS!

Fiona, our beloved riddler on the roof, will be in various parts of Florida, along with her hubby and chilluns, this summer! Kathy (Valrico) and I have discussed possible venues for a meet-up and thought Orlando might be best. Fiona will be there from July 15 thru the 23rd, so we're looking at a date somewhere within that framework. Stay tuned. More details later!

And speaking of Fiona, I have a bone to pick with her! This was my answer to yesterday's riddle which, though it didn't match her answer, is valid!!!

The word in Group B that fits the mold in Group A is "mead".

Explanation:

In Group A, if you remove the More...

Of course, if I'd spelled "consonant" correctly, maybe I would have gotten credit for my answer!!!

Well, I spent all day yesterday trying to make STAPLE - MAPLE, CLOAK - OAK , etc. fit the puzzle!
Sent in today's answer, though

Now, I need a box of puffs. The Fedex man came! The babies, first onsie so cute and soft and cuddly. The girl was not impressed and wanted to know where here clothes were. Now I finally have something for the baby, onsies and baby book. Ahhhh.

I got the Dreft, can we start washing Karen? Maybe I shouldn't have bought that bottle. It will bother me for weeks until I am able to use it!
08/Apr/09 2:38 AM
 |  |

aha - so that's what you do with your babies over there is it? We put them in a babygro (correct spelling) here - funny really - you cover them up and we let them grow - it says a lot, doesn't it?!!
08/Apr/09 2:39 AM
 |  |

Sorry, just a little emotional. They are onesies, little body suits that are so cute on little ones.
08/Apr/09 2:40 AM
 |  |

and so it continues - now we've got Jill all excited about getting the Dreft(??) - does this have a connection with the onsies?

It is a little baby undershirt that is all one piece with snaps down at the bottom. Usually stays on very nicely with out bunching up in the arm pits. I personally couldn't live without em!
08/Apr/09 2:41 AM
 |  |

Yep, Dreft is an extra gentle laundry detergent designed with precious little babes in mind.
08/Apr/09 2:42 AM
 |  |

you wear them too Jill???
08/Apr/09 2:42 AM
 |  |

Fiona - do they need a shallow bed, and do require occasional weeding?
08/Apr/09 2:43 AM
 |  |

I have put off buying the dreft from last time experience. I would go by and smell it often. I still think it is a little early to be washing their clothes. Like you I am wondering where to store them. Besides, by the time the babies get her we will have smelled all the smell out of them and have to rewash them.
08/Apr/09 2:43 AM

Just out of curiosity Fiona, what do you put on babies naked little bum? We call em diapers.
08/Apr/09 2:43 AM

Jill - maybe they go "commando" over there.

Fiona, I am a true believer in clothes optional, but there are times when clothes are required. If I could buy these outfits for me and be as cute as babies are in them, I would have a whole wardrobe full of them.

I seem to remember they were called Pampers, Jill! Disposable, chuck them in the bucket, anti-environmental, the kids left a great big splatch on the planet before they were two years old!
