Oh well, Heidi, I guess that proves that I don't read the comments often. Either that or I cut and pasted that from Sunday! Or, that email has done the rounds!

Only done easy and hard so far and had a dreadful time with both. Here's a story which i hope will bring a smile.
Two men were sitting next to each other at a bar.
After awhile, one guy looks at the other and says,
'I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland.' More...

I was hoping that she might have sent a personal message to a close friend, who could update us. Apparently, she's not ready for even that.

I've been told that aspirin taken with caffeine works best for headaches. A nice cup of coffee might help, Elise. Headaches are awful things to go through.

Heidi; with regard to your ideal, in dream, of being bored. The trouble with reaching that state of nirvana (= boredom) is that one always comes up with urges to do things. The best thing to do with such an urge is to lie down and wait for the feeling to go away.

For a headache?
I've never been told this by anyone, but I could imagine the best remedy for that is to cut your own head off. Indeed that might appear to be a panacea for all ills.
08/Jul/08 1:35 PM

But Rayray - that would hurt!
A nice cup of sweet black tea is my remedy.

A doctor (headache specialist) told me about the caffeine. So there may be something to it.

Rayray.... I've long believed that your cure does work for most ills. I've frequently told my husband that the best cure for any illness in his goats is a serious case of lead poisoning. And I volunteer to administer it. Goats are the one animal I cannot abide.

CynB: I don't know whether cutting your own head off hurts or not. I've never been able to speak with anyone (or any head) who/that has experienced it. The people appear to be tongue-tied afterwards. Heidi - humans used lead to treat infections in Victorian times - also arsenic, which, I understand More...

A headache is quite often an early indication of dehydration. Many times, a couple of glasses of water have been just the ticket for me.

Anyway - even if you could talk to a head that had been cut off, would it be a reliable witness? It might be suffering from illusions - even psychosis. There are stories from the French revolution about heads that roll their eyes and try to speak for a short time after their separation from the More...
