Elise, you were as close as being there because you were talking to each other when she died so your mum didn't die alone. It sound rather macabre but think about it, her last moments were with you.

I'm in a sad mood because in an hour or two, I shall be leaving and . . . . That song "I'm leaving on a jet plane" is in my head as I watch my family here go about their daily business. Kind of chokes you up. Excuse me I must go to smother my grandson with kisses!

Back from the Hospital, and no longer have all that pain in my back and legs. I have to take it VERY easy for 24 hours, so I'm enjoying my vacation .
