Yay, I just completed my first hard puzzle.

Hi everyone! nice pic. and Shazzam congts. it's a good feeling isn't it, now off to tough.

9:06 Now I'll do Sunday's puzzle then on to the tough ones.

22.31 two minutes better than last time.

13:20 on paper. it took me 1:19 to copy the answers onto the computer. there is no way i will ever get to a time of anywhere under five minutes at this level. must make mental note... get faster computer ..... or faster fingers or ..... trade in on anew brain.

(Have just sprayed the outdoor patio in preparation for the Christmas BBQ .. Now, I feel all itchy as if the little crawly blighters have hitched a lift inside! EUGH!)

13:04 Close to the fastest time ever for me at this level. Don't know why I'm doing so well - my mind is otherwise not working at all. Agree with JCV though, even though I'm doing better - I don't know if I'll ever get under five minutes at this level.

And, for those that were interested in the 'Red sky...' proverb , well it comes from the Bible, so it is a very old saying indeed.

HH, from pure guess, I would think that it would be shepherds in the bible. Untill Noah built that Arc, there wasn't much call for salors???
