This is the best website for Sudoku. I love the auto elimination of the possibles!! As an addict, I will now go work on the archived puzzles!!

Try to give up the drugs before you go to the archives, Bern. You may get lost never to be seen again (trapped in the 'tough' May 14 2005).

C'est vrai qu'elles ne sont pas terribles ces rimes!

to Baz fm TNQ

The record for building a complete airworthy Wellington bomber was * 35 hours * and the record holding team was ..........
all women.
 |  |
Bonsoir Catherine. J'espère que tout va bien.
 |  |
First post....8:20 with one guess. As far as the aircraft pictured, I've seen the only other airworthy Lanc fly (the one in the Canadian Warplane Heritage at Hamilton Ontario) hundreds of times. I never get tired of that roar!
 |  |
....and the record for wearing a wellington boot was 451hrs 15mins 23 secs. Absolutely cleared the auditorium when it came off. Merci, mon ami. Je suis en rock star.
 |  |
Eveing all, Interesting pictures on todays puzzles....could it be a train...car on tough...very much doubt that I will discover that one!!
 |  |
20:19. It's after work at home and I should be cooking dinner. I'll move on to tough after a while -- need a glass of wine!
 |  |
 |  |
27:21 Very slow because I was completely stuck and had to guess in the end. Hope to get better time next time.
 |  |
Good evening, my King. I tried to write to last night, but Cyberspace rejected my submissions repeatedly.
May I point out that I am a very lucky queen. I have hairless legs and have never once had to shave them. I have undoubtedly saved many hours of my life and have been fortunate to spend More...
 |  |
... I understand hairy legs keep your legs and feet warm.
Perhaps one of my subjects might like to knit me some leg warmers? As a former ballet student I am partial to anything in pink.

I adore ectomorphs

dear jack, we all start that way and with practise and addiction we reach our plateau of 'fastness'

cheers
 |  |
ap, you are quite the adrenaline junkie...sailor, pilot. What else?
 |  |
Hi all, I keep reading all your notes so I feel as if I know you. Merry Christmas to one and all. All I want for Chistmas is to understand the X wing??fishtail??thingy. I still sometimes have to guess on the tough ones.
 |  |
9:06 If I remember my old modelling days these are a Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane. (Could be wrong about the Hurricane.)
 |  |
My queen you are painting such a wonderful and (in my case) imaginary image for me. Hairless, ex ballet dancing legs. No doubt the torso of an amazonian, arms fine with snake-like strength, gentle delicate fingers and a marble like complexion. Only spoilt by your baldness? I do however like the smooth pate a la Sinead O'Connor.
 |  |
I thought I had seen you modelling, Con. Wasn't it a K-Mart catalogue July '81?
 |  |
I must assure you, my darling, that there is plenty of hair on my head, just not on my legs and arms.
It is a while since I danced, though my legs are probably still my best feature. Unless you like very long nails.
 |  |
Long nails no problem. I have resorted to self flagellation in your absence in order to remain faithful. I used a whippet in order to soften the blows but my back is quite hardy. (kiss me Hardy?) I look forward to sharing a rumba and maybe even a lumbering limbo with you.
 |  |
But can you tango?
 |  |
Yes my sweet petal. I shall be taking lessons but I am sure your can get me up to speed if I am tangle. Mangos are abundant here now. best eaten in the bath...superb. Maybe a mango tango?
 |  |
I just love mangoes. Even though they are so messy.
They are abundant here too - but only in Waitrose (or Selfridges food hall).
Sweet dreams, my king. I must take my rest.
PS... Take it easy with the self-flagellation (Oh joy - a man who can spell such a word!)

Ho Bro! Since last we jaw'd,
King-Fish commamds:
HOP TO'T OR YOUR WIG'S TOOK OFF!'

- We's set to net the Scarlet Pickerel.
T'aint no red herring, bro. We'll skin his fins.
The scaley wag don't pay no tax a'tall.

Lay out for me, soul bros, we'll owe you one;
'What done gone by your shiny eye
this murky day or three?'

I am sure your sentiments are good and you are with me in my one and just cause Yo Man but your use of our language is tainted with hip hopscotch. It is either too much scotch or gin that has entered your system. Perhaps too much beefeating of the mad Cow variety. Or perhaps you hail from New Zealand?

21:17
hello all - merry christmas and safe travels to those going away.
 |  |
Keep your flamin' castle. Enough of cows, good sir!
Alas, it was a poor subterfuge. I pine to lure that perfect Pimp ernel into our giddy girlish view.
 |  |
Hi Bill from Woolwich. I didn't know thar A.V. Roe built women!!
 |  |
6.53 pretty fast not too hard.
merry christmas to all those heading off on their christmas adventures. may you all have a safe and wonderful break and return to our sudoku family refreshed for more fun and frivolity.

10:27, best time on hard so far!
 |  |
13:21--had a hard time with this one--reset my possibilities half way through and started them over, that seemed to help.
 |  |
Thanks for all the comments - one day I may conquer this game - be back tomorrow

Hi everyone! QRP nice to see you back again! it is really annoying when you can't log on. and KRP you are being very funny lately! are you sure you are not Robin Williams in disguise???(my favourite actor by the way)

Congratulations for being first!!! I can't stay up that late? my kids get up too early in the morning. So if I want to have any sleep I need to crash about 11-12. then I might be lucky to get 4hrs.
