I was actually in Perth in May this year! I'd really loved it! :-)

There is a technique called Ariadne's thread which you need for very hard sudoku. It just means guesing and recording your guess and if wrong reversing the numbers. Generally the Hard puzzles here dont require it & can be solved by general logic principles. I dont know whether Gath would like me More...

i am like an expectant father, checking on them every couple of hours. they've got water, feed and lots of nice fresh straw.
one looked like she had some contractions about midday, and all of them are really walking with difficulty; however, none yet.

There are lots of lambs in the fields around us now. Sadly these face cold and wet (not actually sure if that's worse than heat or not?) and quite a few are lost - probably to foxes. Too often see parts of lambs in the fields - and they're a poor economic prospect for farmers here now

Watching's so much better than doing, particular in this heat.

With the drought out here in OZ now going on for so long sheep are also not a good prospect, numbers have dramatically fallen & to think Aust once rode on the sheep's back

Thanks for replying to my comment. I fly to Perth on Christmas Eve to catch a flight to the north west, going to Karratha for Christmas. Yes, Perth is a lovely city. When in Norway I went with English friends & we ferried across then drove from Bergen, through Vos & over the mountains to Sogndal.

Made two mistakes but still came in under 5 minutes....which is very good for me!!
