HI all! Well after much coaxing I eventually ended up with two and a half correct answers to my maths riddle of two days ago - well done to Jimmy, Plum and Saylz (the half answer!). The answer was that Greg would have to work for 6 days.

Oh dear. Just read the posts. Especially Angie's. That explains alot. I think I now know how I ended up with 4 kids.

Which, considering my eyesight is something of a miracle. Sometimes one reads what one expects; and "pear" and "plum" are both four-lettered words.
