Nice to see some old familiar names here today - Dorthea, John, Heidi, Old Hickory, Judy, Anne, Kathy (MD!), shosho, Colo Jim, & Jerry and a few new ones too, Bev & Theresa. I hope all is well with all of you.

Two young businessmen in Florida were sitting down for a
break in their soon-to-be new store in the shopping mall. As yet,
the store wasn't ready, with only a few shelves and display racks
set up.

One said to the other, "I'll bet that any minute now some

Kathy, you give out crappy prizes. You should at least offer trade-ups, exchange three bags of bat guano for a cow pie or something else. At least we could burn the cow pie for heat in the winter!

We have had a smoggy day so far. Ottawa, and everywhere north-east of here are getting heavy smoke from forest fires burning north of Trois-Riviéres, Quebec. That's over 360 kilometers away! Our own version of an ash cloud!

How ungrateful, Greg! I shall have to look for the perfect prize for you. But, wait. You haven't sent me an answer. Your loss.

Every Memorial Day, American flags are put at each headstone in Arlington National Cemetery. It is a sobering, but inspiring sight.

Happy Memorial Day to our American Friends.
Vici, we saw that test on the baseballs in the humidifier on the TV last night.
I have been in a hail storm that did that kind if damage. The sound on our 'tin roof' was incredible. It even chopped the head off a couple of chooks.

Kathy.... our Lion's Club does the same thing in the local cemetery. Last year, some low-life stole the flags off the headstones.

HI all! You see Kathy, where you made the big mistake with the riddles was starting to give out prizes. These people don't need prizes and they certainly don't need bat crap. Now they are unhappy and unsure and have lost confidence - do they answer the riddle correctly and get their name in lights More...

Well, hello Bubble Girl! How timely. The riddle job is back in your capable (if miserly) hands! I shall bestow an appropriate prize for correct answers tomorrow (hopefully, the prize I have ordered will be delivered!), then I am winging my way to Texas where I am loved and appreciated.
