I am whacked, I am exhausted. I have over the past ten days baked about 200 fairy cakes, had 3 birthday parties, and entertained rather a lot of (mostly) under 12 year olds. I never want to see another fairy cake, not until next year anyway. Think of me please! And feel sorry for me!

Good Morning! Thank you, thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes on my page, here and in PM's.

No, I don't have to work for all those wondering, although I do have to go to the workplace for a meeting re my future work capabilities at 2pm.

But before that, a date at the hairdresser's, and lunch with 3 friends.

And tonight, dinner at a chinese restaurant with family members.

The meeting is because I'm stil on a graduated return to work program after my neck problems, and currently only working 6 hour days instead of 8. If I've been a good girl ( ) (in work duties' terms), I may be allowed to increase my hours, or at least extend what I'm allowed to do. More...

Each year in Canberra, the US Embassy holds a big outdoors reception for 4th of July. Because the day falls on the weekend this year, it was held early - and Mr P went to it - TODAY!!!!
