Keith, you are too funny. I loved the flowers (but thought you could have come up with more than 5)! hehe Seriously, a few things have come up re my FIL and MIL, which have taken up my last few days. I now have to take MIL out of town 3 times in the next 3 days - I was told, not asked - so I guess More...

We also chose not to watch the opening ceremony for the first time ever.

Jim, I felt much the same as you did about the opening ceremony. At the same time tremendous creative talent went into the performance and its logistics. Now if we can persuade the Chinese Government to out the same effort into their human rights 'efforts' then perhaps a lot of people will be much happier.

I've got a new post on my blog
http://www.overworkedandunderpaid.org/jiminchina/?p=11

I just got back, and haven't had time to write much. But I tried to get my photos online as fast as possible. There are no Olympic shots, because you saw what I saw - TV! But, as always, I would love to hear your comments.
