Well, taking it to its most recent and primitive terms, it seems that a joke about fellatio and anal intercourse with nuns was perfectly all right.

CP was the only person who publically objected, and even then, it was not removed until about a day later.

What does that say about this site and the people on it?

Just wanted to add that neither am I a prude, but some jokes and names are revolting and pushing the bounds of the envelope.

Mum is doing ok Mariane still staying her at Hotel Rolanda, all being well, she goes home next week Thursday.
She is starting to get a tad anxious, she has the followup appt on Tuesday, which is when we will get further biopsy results, we are of course hoping they got all the cancer!

By the way: like Angie, I am not 'hallmonitor' and nor did I ever post a joke about nuns engaging in any extreme activity of any kind. What they do is a private matter between them and their Maker.

There are one or two UK newspapers that raise objection to this or that that was on TV before the 'watershed' - then hypercritically illustrate their objection with the seediest possible excerpts and photographs - so that every one-year old in the land can see exactly what they mean.

For what it's worth, I think that some people are missing the point (or several points) about this site. First and foremost, the site is a business enterprise owned and run to produce revenue like any commercial venture. It's by nature a public site to which anyone in the world with a pc has More...

Having said that, the site is a privately owned concern. The owner is free to do with it as he pleases. For me, it has given me considerable pleasure over many years and I have come to accept it for what it is. In other words...I take from it what I want, and only what I want. That which doesn't interest me, I ignore. If there is to be a guideline for users, I would recommend that one.

Is an attack on an unappointed, transient or semi-permanent, nom-de-plume an 'ad homimen' attack, or is it better described as an 'ad non-homimen' attack?
