Yes, sorry Anne and AP.I don't know how I made that silly mistake.I didn't think to mant people would know where it is, its only a small town nearly 200 kilometres away from Albany, but nearly the same distance from Perth. AP, its pronounced Jerra-mung-gup, like its got 2 gees.

Hehe Anne. That would make it a 2 horse town.But you are right we only have around 1500 in the town but as you know its a farming district so there are properties scattered over a very large area.

Corky - a lot of them are derived from aboriginal words for certain places and things. I'm afraid that I don't know any of the meanings but maybe there is someone on the site that does. The hardest part is trying to pronounce some of them if you're new here, like when we arrived in Australia. Gave More...

Corky - Highway 1 which goes around Australia goes through gg town, but I noticed on my map that there is a road 60 & 62 close by so maybe 61 is nearby. But there again, knowing this place, Road 61 could be going through Normanton or Ballarat.
