No Hugh, just up late last night and home sick today. Procrastinating cos there's a really big task I have to do today (my tax!) Yeah, I know it's late but I rang up to request an extension.

Don't know if this is true, guys, but I've heard the statistic that 50 per cent of 50 year-olds have abnormal prostates, 60 per cent of 60 year-olds, 70 per cent of 70-year-olds, etc.

My dad, now in his 70s, (a doctor, and therefore I think he felt immortal) found he had prostate cancer a More...

Good Morning, It's November 13. November 13 is the 317th day of the year (318th in leap years) in the Gregorian Calendar, with 48 days remaining. On November 13 in 1990 The World Wide Web first began and in 1971 the American space probe, Mariner 9, became the first spacecraft to orbit another More...

Nurn: I don't think you should say 'wrong of course'. It's a given that everyone, regardless of their age or position, feels they are invincible and know what's best for themselves. Your Dad probably puts more thought into the problems you and your children experience then he does into his own possible problems. It's human nature.

Rosemary - great photos. You may have inspired me to upload my trip. (I know, not today - do the tax!!)>

the site I uploaded them on is very easy to do. Picasa is the program to crop your photos etc and it is all part of google to upload to the site.

2.21 - Just back from holidays in Moama beautiful weather, kids had a ball. I have missed all the weeks comments (unfortunately not enough time to go through the achives). Hope everyone was lucky on Melb Cup Day. My parents and I all pick a horse each and put money on a trifecta every year and we were most surprised when all 3 horses came in. ($chaching$)

Canuk Greg - you may be right, but I definitely feel less 'immortal' than I did when I was a teenager - don't you? (maybe you are still a teenager!)
 |  |
Canuk Greg, I thin you're right: you have to feel 'a bit' immortal; otherwise, you wouldn't have the will to live, I guess!
 |  |
You know I meant 'THINK', of course...?

KATHY: Yes, we are going to MarineLife Center on Tuesday, I am really looking forward to it. Jim has a couple of trips planned, one being Miami (thanks nal), the Keys and another over the Thanksgiving break.
Oh My!! I am quite overwhelmed on my first visit to America. I feel like my feet More...

This past week, Ed Bradley, a gifted journalist and gentleman, succumbed to leukemia. Ed gave us a glimpse of greatness in his craft. CBS has honored this awesome American unlike any other I can recall in recent history. If you feel so inclined, read, listen and learn more: http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/60minutes/main3415.shtml ... Rest in peace, Ed. You lived well.

SARAH BETH - Not all Aussie men are that good looking, some are better looking but most are not. However you should keep this too your self, because ALL Aussie men do think they are in fact good looking and consider themselves to be a wonderful gift (from God of course)lol.

Hello world. Good to see all of you! I'd love to talk, but am about to fall asleep as I type this. Just had to say hello to you and to tell Drysdale that he has a friend in his one world peace idea. Love it! Finally have a weekend where both Penn State and The Eagles wom. Bert, Washington did More...

4:48 WHAT WAS I THINKING? I was interrupted(thinkusinterruptus)half way thru (and you know what they say about trying to do two things at once!!). When I saw the 'sunset' I thought of Perth's beaches (most spectacular for sunsets). Also very nice in other parts of the World. mAen ALL. xxxx

Congrats, Mamacita, on your big 10 and NFL victories. It's great when the home teams win. Ed said it best... the Redskins are 'offensive to watch.' So typically, i DON'T.
