To Shirleen from Cape Town SA
Hello to Cape Town! My partner hales from there. Do you know the Eloff Clan?
 |  |
I heard it was going to be hot there for a few days. A workmate of mine returned exhausted from NZ yesterday after having an action-type holiday and it seems she had a blast. I seem to remember that you are going there soon.
Are things getting any better on the parent front (I have to ask, I know col would like to know)?
 |  |
I didn't have internet connectivity for most of the day so this is the first I've gotten to get to it today...
Did it in 3:39 today...
Sub 4 2 days in a row!!!
Do I get a prize today?
 |  |
You should have had your prize several times over by now......and you probably shouldn't mention you did it in 3:39 - that won't impress the ladies lounging in the wardroom.....
 |  |
Can't wait to see the dancing belly...sounds YUMMY!!!!
 |  |
Sorry, I was preoccupied (hee hee--giggle) for a bit, no worries though, I got my fab shoes back from Dennis.
Mo...was thinking that maybe we could go back to the bow tie idea for the cabin boys--a small flash back to the wedding.
 |  |
so do I get you in a stateroom with a do not disturb sign on the door? if that room could talk I tell you!!!!....after tonight what a story could be told from that!
 |  |
Billy was a mountain, Ethel was a tree growing off of his shoulder' ??
 |  |
You mean a bow tie with a wings and a dickie?
 |  |
frank zappa
 |  |
Not sure about the wings, but the bow tie involves a dickie once people get enough bolly in their systems...OHHHHH that kind of wings and Dickie...yeah, I guess that could work :)

Given that it's Christmas, we could have a Christmas theme for the uniform - lots of tinsel (*no* holly)....
 |  |
or a naval theme - lots of rope (v Ted, I think, that one).....
 |  |
I think the naval theme will be covered -- thinking the christmas theme would be great! Tinsel, battery operated blinking lights...oh the things we could do!
 |  |
Mo - you are good. Are we witnessing a major naval engagement? Is Amber (the middle light) about to embark on Major exercises??
 |  |
....will you invite the Village People (as opposed to the people from the village).
 |  |
KRP Billy the Mountain is Frank Zappa. I personally love 'Cheepnis'
Here comes that poodle dog, big as a blimp with a rhinestone collar. Snappin off the trees, like they was baanzied ornaments on a dry wobble landscape> we can't let it reproduce! somebody get the pants
 |  |
ahhh Jim, yes, now you're talking. Did you see my note re the shark piccy on hard.
 |  |
glow in the dark.......
 |  |
Okay, KRP, now I've seen it twice and I have to say 'the middle light' is clever--hadn't heard it before (and that is rare)
 |  |
Good thought...there are so many edible treats that would fit the Christmas theme and also be delightful to dress the boys up in!

 |  |
2:24 personal best for me. Welcome Diane/Pa, you are now a member of a very elite (&eclectic/sic?) group. Brett/Va you will get faster every time. Have a good night all.
 |  |
meant in a affectionate and gentle way Amber. I quite like the middle light....an attractive colour and it always makes me go much faster.

I know the difference between a tiger shark and a sand tiger. The caudal on the hard page pic looks like sand tiger aka snaggletooth. Lots of them here in all the large aquariums. Tiger sharks are much larger and more dangerous. They had one at Maui Ocean Center. Tiger sharks love to eat sea More...
 |  |
Ahhh, the best compliment I have had all day, and once upon a time it was so true (which is funny if you have paid attention and know my approx. age)...beware though, affection and compliments will get you every where with me :)
 |  |
anne i finished correct i know 'coz i got the pic.or will u get the pic even if u are not correct?
 |  |
Billy's a mountain, so don't F*** with Billy....
 |  |
Ya know I am a bit of a renisannce man in that respect.. I still can tie a bow tie and I make it look good tied or untied...and yes I do own a tux and I am great at both formal events or just kicking back checking out the bridesmaids....
 |  |
zubin mehta????!?!?!
 |  |
Must be interesting work Jim. There is a famous case that occurred in Sydney in the 1930s I think where a tiger shark was caught and put in a public swimming pool at Coogee for people to come and see as it was alive and ok. At some point it disgorged it's stomach and amongst the debris...a bloke's arm which was heavily tattooed.
 |  |
Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you earlier...yeah, hadn't figured on the short length of time available for showers...guess we'll just have to jam in lots of seAmen to make the most of it!
 |  |
Age has not wearied me Amnber but I am a long way from Michigan (land of steel and motor cars)....the flattery is free.
