I saw Cirque du Soleil, Alegria, here in Oz about 5 years ago. I agree it was wonderful! Did you buy the soundtrack? I have also seen Saltimbanco, Amazing! (hmm there's one word we spell with a 'z')
Varekai, opens here in April, it has had rave reviews in North America.

I've got tickets to Varekai here in Canberra on March 24. Looking forward to it very much.

Jaz: Saw Saltimbanco last year it was superb, it was performed in a Cirque du Soleil tent(huge) and was much better than the Albert Hall as it was purpose built. I bought all the DVD's in two sets after we saw them, love it!! What they do is unbelievable. Are you going to Varekai??

CP - You lucky thing, you will love it!! Is this my excuse to fly to Australia?? Perhaps I come as a performing seal, do you think Cirque will buy that?

I was going to read all the posts, but decided I was too lazy and the kids kept bugging me lol.

'Excuses' I need to go to Australia to meet lovely kind people from sudoku site, share my chocolate (if I have too!!), stay with everyone, paddle in the sea, learn to love 'BIG' spiders (am sure a doctor would recommend a visit to conquer my fears!), see blue sky (England is having a why not be grey every day sort of sky). I am sure there is a poster saying 'Australia needs you' pointing at me!!

André, you wouldn't have to worry about accommodation as there will be plenty of people all over Australia with a spare bed or two for you and your family. There sure is in Albany, just say the word.

We sure do andré but please don't bring choccy.. we're all trying to lose weight. (If we all manage it we might have to tie the country down to stop it rising further above sea level and ruining our beaches!)

And don't worry about big spiders. There's absolutely NO way you can get to love More...

André, Yes I am going to get tickets to see Varekai in the Cirque du Soleil tent (they set it up at the Melbourne Tennis, where the Australian Open is currently being played.
