Hello everyone, another busy day ahead, my brother is bringing Mum here for lunch so I had better get moving plus our Grandaughter needs a lift to work so the grparents have been roped in to do the job as her Mum and Dad are at work themselves.

Back again briefly, useage use explained - 4T has been downloading some files (games, I think) - "but I didn't think they were all that big!". And yes, he had left his laptop running while he was out last night and our useage went from 110% to 150% of our monthly allowance!!

Good to see you around. Today I have been wondering about a new large road reported to have have recently built near Port au Prince - as to whether the traffic vibrations from that could have directed a tectonic weakness to cause the quake to express there.

Maybe your friend's grandson would know. I am glad he is OK and able to report.

It was a very destructive quake - they say now that 100,000 may have been killed.

Amid the record cold in Florida, hundreds of sea turtles - who are cold-blooded - were stunned by the cold. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center successfully rehabbed and released as healthy, more than 40 animals on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. I posted five pics of it:

BTW, while the turtles got my time, it was The American Red Cross Haitian Disaster Fund which got my $$$. I wonder if I gave too much.

RayRay - they drove over the mountains to the Dominican Republic yesterday. His little brother (16) flew home. Sam is now driving supplies in by truck to Port au Prince in one of the mission's trucks.
