Hello to all my Sudoku friends! I'm off tonight for warmer climes to visit my dad in Santiago, Chile. (Anne from Albany: I shall remember your Santiago purse-snatching incident and keep mine velcroed to my body!)I hope to check into Sudokuland every now and again. In the meantime, I have the old fashioned kind that requires a pencil!!

Am I an overprotective mother? My perfectly healthy son who will be 18 next month was at a party last night, and like all the other kids celebrating their last week of school had had a few to drink, but was not drunk unlike some others. A mate crash tackled him mucking around, my son went down and More...

*** SNAIL MAIL REPORT ***

ROBYN has called again all excited that she received two more cards/letters. I believe that she has now received at least ten from you all and she is very appreciative. She said that after this week she will be writing back to those who provided return addresses. Thanks again to all of you!

*** CHALK ART REPORT ***

LEAH finished her picture at the Festival of the Masters at Downtown Disney and received a lot of appreciative compliments. I thought she did a remarkable job! We will post the pictures on her web site this week - keep checking for them!

Susan,
I have a 16 year old and he knows not to go to any teenage parties where drinking is going on. Legal age here is 21. My son would NEVER go back to the house where that party was, EVER AGAIN. You are not overprotective, you are properly concerned.
 |  |
Angela, it's been a mess at work so I can't get on very often right now. I worked in Lost Colinas at 114 and O'Connor for 5 years, I know where Irving is. I live in Fort Worth, 8 or 9 miles south of Central Market at I-30 and Hulen. Or is that 13 or 14 kilometers

2:33, I didn't see the butterfly, I guess the cat ate it.
 |  |
CELIA from Toronto - have a wonderful time in Santiago. I'm sure everything will be fine, I just happened to be unlucky.
Safe travelling and tell us all about it when you return home.

good Maen everyone
the butterfly looks comfy cute little boy
Susan my point out would be to your son if i were you and tell him hopefully you now know who your hanging around with do you trust them with your health? i sure hope he is ok good luck.

A farmer goes out one day and buys a brand new stud rooster for his chicken coop. The young rooster walks over to the old rooster and says, 'Ok, old fellow, time to retire.'
The old rooster says, 'You can't handle all these chickens . . look at what it did to me!'
The young rooster replies, More...

At first I thought the boy was holding a frog. Had to look twice.

Susan, I don't think you are being over protective. I would be enraged with the parents for treating the situation so lightly. Anyone who has a seizure, without a history of seizures, should have medical attention.
 |  |
Susan - One thing I would do is get your son checked out, if he has had a seizure you must follow it through to ensure he has good health and to make sure it was just a one off occurrence.
 |  |
To Susan
youre not beeing an overprotective mother. When someone, what ever his age, be it 18 or 28, has a seizure and isn't conscious then you should always call an ambulance, especialy if that person has had a blow to his head.
These are not the kind of people you want around youre son. And you should tell him that.

Bill Clinton started jogging near his new home in Chappaqua. But on each run, he happened to jog past a hooker standing on the same street corner, day after day.

With some apprehension he would brace himself as he approached her for what was most certainly to follow.

'Fifty More...

Good Tuesday Maen, all!

Susan/Ingham--please have your son thoroughly checked out. My son's friend had his 1st seizure 3 years ago when we arrived at LAX to fly to Orlando for vacation. We called his mom and she drove to the airport because we weren't sure if he should make the trip with More...
