Mo - a chain would give the wrong impression -bikie grannie or some such, you have far more style than that. I would go with a 'waved' ribbon, sheer, very chic - like you, and never be ashamed of glass, although they do crack easily if sat upon - wouldn't happen with diamond...

I knew I would get good advice from you Billy.
I must go to for bed now. Tomorrow I shall concentrate on some glamorous outfits, I don't want to be outshone by you and André. Would you mind if I, too, wore a tiara? If you don't mind, could you send me some samples of sparkles? I thought I'd try my hand at making my own tiara or coronet. Maybe with a few emeralds to match my eyes.

Lesson Number One

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?' The crow answered 'Sure, why not.' So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox More...

Lesson Number Two

A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree,' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.'
'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. 'They're packed with nutrients.' The turkey pecked at More...

Good on Ireland at the World Cup. Now wouldn't it be something if Canada could beat England tomorrow!

Mo - always happy to help. I always encourage tiara wearing, it's empowering - people curtsey and they know not why. The diamonds i work with don't actually sparkle as they are 'rough', but some have a very nice lustre and are quite big and mangoey in colour which may clash quite horridly with your green eyes.

GMo, it was good to have you mention a tiara. i found a special one for my granddaughter when hubby and i were visiting Galveston, TX. i spotted it in a 'special' store and thought the grandgirl would love it. she is definitely a 'girlie-girl'. i haven't seen her yet to give it to her. i just More...

Lesson Number Three

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm More...

Lesson Number Four

When the body was first made, all the parts wanted to be Boss. The brain said, 'I should be Boss because I control the whole body's responses and functions.' The feet said, 'We should be Boss as we carry the brain about and get him to where he wants to go.' The hands More...

Great jokes, Hugh!
My father was first generation Irish in Pittsburgh. Many Irish were there for the steel industry. He used to dread St Patricks Day because of all the fights between the orange and the green. He said it was a shame that the animosity had been brought to the 'New World' Happy St Patrick's Day to all of you, oranges, greens, redwhite'n'blues, and global sudokuites!

Nance - according to queen of clean, depending on the type of ink in a ball point pen, rotten milk - as in 'off milk' - the sort with lumps in it - 'bleeds' out the stain.

Earth Hour is a fabulous opportunity for you and your family to do something about climate change. On one night, in one hour, more will be done, more will be demonstrated, and more will be learned than through a hundred 'talk-fests'. And you can help make it happen.

Okay Amelia, I'll send my umbrella with it, howzat?
We also need some rain but being down on the coast we don't need it anywhere near as badly as some of you do. I haven't had a game of golf for a few years, I might have to do something about that, when I've finished painting my loungeroom out. (I haven't started yet, though).
