Good late Maen! Wishing for better weather conditions for all experiencing difficulties! Is this the first post on page 2, or is something amiss. There hasn't been a comment posted in about 1 hour. Have a great day, everyone!

Hi, Don, Mt. Carroll, IL! I grew up near there.
 |  |
3:47, it was easy. I thought I did worse then I saw my time.

Andre' stay inside!!!

I would like to know where this picture is also. It looks like a cabin in a park near my house.
 |  |
Chalkboard, here is a site for weather anywhere.
weatherunderground.com
Just put in the city or zip code for anywhere in the world and you got it. Also a weather map.
Still cold and dry here in the mid-Sierras. As Stella said, it's easier to take if you have snow.
 |  |
The important question about this picture is whether it was taken at sunrise or sunset.

everyone...
Jim from Jupiter...As I was reading your post, I could see the punch line coming. There are always drawbacks to the places we live. If it isn't the severe weather, it is something else. That is why I sno-bird.

3:05 my best time ever, but I figured it was adrenaline from being upset!
 |  |
This looks like it's in the woods. I think I see a little man by the window who stood. But I don't see a rabbit hopping by.
 |  |
3:45 We have had strong winds of 90mph but no structural damage just plant pot blown over.Andre sorry to hear of your damage.
 |  |
Maen all. 2:02 that's my best so far. Almost made under 2.
 |  |

Val thanks, it can be mended looks as though some have suffered far worse so counting my lucky stars!! Bill I tied myself to the sofa and had a lazy afternoon, glad I took your advice
 |  |
André, it sounds like you and Val may be in the middle of big trouble,weather-wise. Stay safe. Praying for rain where needed, a lifting of extreme tempertures, hot or cold and safety for all. That's about all I can do in protest. We started with a cold, dry beautiful day that has turned grey and More...

Hi all....if you're interested, I am on the sliding puzzle today!!
I love this cabin. Is it a cabin? What is the difference between a cabin and a house? I don't think we have cabins here in Australia. Do we???

Good Thursday mAen, all!

Sleepy from the allergy med, but looking forward to taking my Mom out to lunch and running errands in a little while.

The cold continues in Sunny California, as I sit in my chair with a throw wrapped around my legs and feet with the heater on!
 |  |

Aileen...it's 6am here in Brisbane and I have the ceiling fan on high to try and cool down. I have to sit on a towel on my dining chair as the sweat from my legs is so uncomfortable. Somewhere there must be a climatge that is mediocre and not so extreme. I hear Perth WA si pretty close but a little More...

Hhhmmm..my last post is a little dyslexic...
si = is
climatge = climate

Hi, Deb!
Just peeked in your page to see if there were new pics of Kiarah and was rewarded with the photo of the 2 of you! Lovely!

Then went to your Flickr page to be nosy after all the nice comments about great grandmum to see a really great photo of Kiarah and your mum! A wonderful treasure hunting expedition for me...
 |  |

Have to work tomorrow (Sat) which is a pain but three other staff want the day off so I'm it. Unfortunately, my Aunty passed away Wednesday afternoon and her funeral is tomorrow and now I cant attend. It's in Toowoomba about and hour and half away to the west of me (inland). My Mum, sister and More...
 |  |

Also babysitting tomorrow night (Kiarah) while Matt and Nicole go out for dinner and a concert. I'm going to their place and staying the night. My first baby sitting experience with my granddaughter...cant wait...
 |  |

Thanks Aileen...I think my Mum looks great for 80 and she is so active (bus trips, indoor bowls, lunches etc) she has a better social life than I do!!!! and, I might add, is a very switched on lady....
 |  |
It looks a lot like the cabins in Cades Cove, near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg in Tennessee.

Orlando weather can be anything in winter.
We have some highs in the 80s and can have highs only near 50. We don't get many freezing nights, and usually not more than 2 or 3 cold nights in a More...
 |  |

ANDRE - BILL says you should be tied to something large and heavy - I will be on the next flight with a hank of rope!

 |  |

SHELLY - Expect the highs here to be in the 70s, but be prepared for the low 80s and the high 60s during some days. This is not the rainy season, but we could still get a gully washer or two. At night you will likely want to have a sweater. You will likely want a sweater in some restaurants as More...
 |  |

JEANINE - I had the same thought - the picture looks like one of the buildings in Cades Cove!
 |  |

CP - are you the person who sent me a large envelope from OZ?

Thanks so very much! My younger daughter was so excited!!
 |  |

What the heck - I might as well get in one more post and become a C.P. for the first time in 2007!

Good afternoon to all! I see that Gath has been busy and has posted the meaning of MAEN in the More section. Good stuff Gath, and now I'm waiting to see the reaction from Baz!

Good Maen to all in Sudokuland. Thankyou for all your thoughts and prayers yesterday. The interview went very well I thought, and I hope to hear back today. Even if I don't get it, it is a huge confidence boost to know that I am considered employable after being out of the workforce for 7 years!
 |  |
Glenn, just checked out those photos, and you are right, they are spectacular! It is hard to really fathom how huge the universe really is!

Mildura has had an overdose - on the radio I heard 45mm in half an hour. On the Bureau site it shows Ouyen (about half an hour south of Mildura)as having had 23mm (just about an inch) between 9am and 9.30 this morning so it would seem not to have stopped yet!
Mildura is a long way from Melbourne More...

Good MAEN. 3:21, no bad for me.
