Yes, Judy, everybody knows it's not the length of the lens that counts, but the clarity of focus.

Hope Fiona has enough couches for all the "Freudians" in Sudokuland.

You know, Glenn's question can also be interpreted as asking "for what length of time was the lens subjected to live ammunition?"

Maybe the question should come with a PG-13 rating for adult More...

Good thinking, Kathy--one must consider all the angles. (Don't even get me started on double exposure ...)

Fast puzzle for me and Fantastic picture today. Assuming it was taken w/ a 35mm camera with fast shutter speed. Sometimes I miss my 35 mm camera. The digital cameras do what we need for selling online, but the old (35mm) camera took such good shots of many things. Even got More...

Four fonts walk into a bar.
The barman looked at them and said "Hey, get out! We don't want your type in here."

In a different bar the barman appropached two drunk fonts and asked them to leave. One said to the other. We'd better go or he might throw the baby out with bathwater.

Eve, it is interesting. While I appreciate your analogy (and am sure it is true) I have had a completely different experience. I've been teaching for a while, and every year there is a great debate about the election of our school captains (we are a primary or elementary school). The staff panic More...

Well, it's off to school. We are heading on a school excursion today to Echuca and Kyabram with 40 little ones. Sounds like fun, except it is supposed to be over 40 degrees C and we are going to be outside for most of the day! I'll see you tonight as a grease spot! Have a lovely day everyone.

I wonder if you know about the Adopt a Doll project by UNICEF? My daughter has to do an esposé on this and so today we trailed the UNICEF site to find out more. I am now in the process of making a rag doll (the site gives you the pattern and some advice) and dressing her, (not my favourite More...

CG: It is unlikely that the fonts in the bar were observing Al Ma'un

Well Ray, if the baby was thrown out with the water, he/she would be removed before the water was poured down the scaccarium. Of course, the two fonts were drunk, so they wouldn't have remembered that. Holy baptism Batman! The baby was saved! Hallelujah! Of course, the other four fonts would have been able to tell these two that fact, as they couldn't get served and they had already left the bar.

"scaccarium" is Latin for "chessboard."

Eve, No snow yet... Right now I'm spending my time up around Toledo, WA (exit 60 off of I-5.) The weather "guesser" says I might get snow, but...

I did get a LOT of rain though.

Yes, thank-you Gath. I was just half into saying - please you two leave my sacrarium out of this - and everything else like it. The very idea -pouring things down my sacrarium. That could cause irreversible hiccups; stomach inversion and back-up from my drains. The very idea!!

Gath, what about "impotent fool?"

Is that, perhaps, another example?

To try to change the subject: I am here at this unearthly time (1.30am our time) because the gale continues. The wind has been constantly over 60mph for the past 24 hours and looks as it is becoming 'normal'. Except for a lull of about one day, we have had this gale for at least one week. I didn't realise there was so much air in the atmosphere. Where does it all come from?

If this is not the place for personal attacks, then what is this post doing on CGreg's personal page?
