Good Maen, everyone!
Dorthea, didn't see any rainbows when I was in St. Thomas. Just the sun, but it was just as beautiful to visit anyway!

We are back from the vet without Houpette, she is in their Intensive Care, on a drip of both liquid and drugs. They think her kidneys started to pack up and she has a lot of nasties in her blood. I have to call in 24 hours, so fingers crossed.

Do you think the leprechauns left a pot of gold on the boat at the end of the rainbow?

Beautiful day here yesterday! Sunny, warm... Went hiking yesterday where I lost my sunglasses on Sunday and STILL didn't find them. Think the Leprechauns must have taken 'em!

GMo - I am hoping for the best for Houpette. She appears to be in good hands, so keep positive thoughts.

Will hope vet is wrong - but will still keep everything crossed, GMo.
(The vet was a little agressive about my Tuxedo's prognosis. I almost had him put down a couple of weeks ago because of it, but waited and he's back to his old self and purring. Don't know how long it will last, but will hope that goes for you, too.)

Just want to thank everyone who commented on "green" light bulbs yesterday. I have another question about them now. How does one dispose of the burned-out bulbs? We do not have a hazardous waste disposal site here, so do we have to mail them somewhere? I read somewhere that you can More...

We believe, our Precious, went away a few weeks ago to die. I would have taken her to the vet, but did not follow my instincs and listend to Man to wait and see. Now, I have that unknowing what happened feeling. She was an old dog when she adopted us and she has stayed with us for almost 10 years.

There are people in this house who are not normally here, and they do not understand the order of events. My son well knows that you watch cartoons until after morning changeover and race, before you request breakfast. My 2 daughters are home sick from school and are requesting my attention.

Jill - we older tennis players rely on craftiness and cunning rather than skill and speed to win our matches. I'd be doing my victory dance, but my knees are a little wobbly today!

Jane I just have lost two of the green bulbs and both were shattered. Thanks to hubby, who was so kind after turning over the lamp to clean up his mess. Now how he disposed of them is only a guess, but I am sure he just put them in the trash. What a good question of what to do with them.

Jill you must set your children straight on the events of the morning rituals. Mine is whatching her morning cartoons in here this morning and thinks she can sit in my lap to do so. Two problems with that, one it interferes with my typing and two I have no lap any longer.

I too have lost my lap. I will happily give side by side snuggles, but the couch or a bed is the only place big enough for that.
Speaking of laps, here is hoping that Houpette is safely back in your lap soon GMo!

Girl is demanding noodles for breakfast, so I guess she is not going to feed herself this morning. Darn it. Pasta for breakfast does not sound very appealing.

Karen: The problem seems to be that that 'green light bulbs are 'not green'. Perhaps they could be recycled as tooth amalgam.
