I think the picture is supposed to contrast the barks of two Eucalypt species side by side - but without annotation it is pretty meaningless and is therefore not an especially interesting picture - as Jim points out.

To me it looks like the mess you see after flash flooding in a creek. Lots of debris pushed up against a fence. But that's a sight I'm used to. I see no critter. I WISH there was a caption!

So Anne is taking me to the movies to see 'The Proposal' this morning followed be a 'Hot Stone Steak' at the Club for lunch. Eggs Benedict next year perhaps?
