My daughter went last time they were in Perth and is going again this time, November I think it is. She didn't invite me along and all the times I had to sit and listen to him and watch him on T.V. when she was a teenager you'd think she would repay me in kind.

Good morning everyone! After a few days of perfect sunshine it's a bit cloudy outside today, must be the weekend coming up!

Work is slow this morning, my 9 o'clock appointment lady didn't turn up, and the next one for me is at 1. Never mind, catching up on lots of bits and pieces of paperwork.

So glad to hear the sun came out for Fiona. It's important to me that people enjoy "my" city. Yea, yea, we only took the one picture and it came out a tad out of focus. Sorry about that.

Oh, Rolanda, thank goodness you're here. We talk about all sorts of things, don't we??? The weather, our families, etc, etc! We don't need a specific subject when we can talk about anything. What woman does?

Well, that's over two and a half hours spent weeding, tidying, watering, picking up leaves, et cetera, et cetera, and it's time I had lunch. A late lunch as it's 2:44 here.

I don't think I can make it to the changeover this Maen. The heat index is supposed to be awful today. We're trying to figure out where to find air conditioning for the day.

Spend the day at the beach, Plum! I know the waters of Lake Michigan stay cold during the summer. That should cool you off!

...or eat lots of cold watermelon. That always seems to lower my body temperature by at least 10 degrees!

Sorry Phantom, the daughter was a teenager when Jon Bon Jovi was at the start of his career, that was twenty odd years ago. She's now 39 next month.

Anne, checked out your photos. I now have a new place to put on the 'wish to visit' list. Reminds me a little of our Red Rocks area here in Denver. It's amazing how the different it can look in different light.
