Leonard Maltin/Review: Slagged Off (2008): A film in which the principsl character Billy (Helen Mirren) accuses a film critic Justly (Sir Lauence Olivier) of being akin to junk. Thd princely Gath (Brad Pitt) comes to his rescue with a log-in in a breathtaking climax. Despite 'razzi' award for Helen Mirren this has merit. 28 stars. Ha-Ha. Sorry that should read hurrah!

One December day we found an old straggly cat at our

felt sorry for her so we put her in a carrier and took

The next day my husband had an appointment with his
doctor, who is
located in the same building, next door to the vet.

The MD's waiting room and office was full of people
waiting to see the doctor. A
side door opened and the vet leaned in - he had
obviously seen my husband
arrive.

He looked straight at my husband and in a loud voice
said

Home from work now. Someone heard me say it was quietish, so we had several customers come through the door at once - only one in labour though!

Should go to bed, cos I have to be back at work at 7. It always takes me a while to wind down though, after an evening shift, so I'll get myself some hot milk, and some ice cream, and just chill for a while.
