I'd bet that most of the 'froms' are current or former regular posters who have been slammed, since they all seem to know a lot about the personalities and themes of the site. Some 'froms' probably go incognito to avoid being hurt again, while others just want to dish out a little of the venom they received themselves!

Can't speak for Beehive, though I would be very surprised if he ever did purposely post as a from, but I can speak for me. I don't and never have posted as a from. Can't see the point of it at all. I mean, why would any-one post something that they are too scared to put their own tag to?

MAMACITA: Ooh ... that hurt! :) I have to get my two cents worth in over the next few days, because after that we head up to the mountains, where I only have s-l-o-w dial-up, and the record snowfall in the California Sierras has apparently ripped all of our phone lines out. I hope that the lines are repaired quickly, because I won't know what to do without my sudoku fix!

Judy, I think you are right too. But it is a funny way of protecting yourself. I mean nobody (generally) knows who the hell you are, and you get slammed as a from anyway. Makes no sense to me. Although I could post as a from saying that Baz is really entertaining, intelligent and rather handsome, in a rugged sort of way. But then you would all probably guess who did it!

So what if we do know each other, we will never agree on everything any way. That's what makes it interesting. From's bore me, I give them no mind.

With so many interesting posters, I dont waste my time with the from's. I feel there is one who is very genuine, I have no idea why he or she uses from.

Have yourself a great holiday and enjoy every single minute of it. Are you going anywhere that you may have written about in your postings. I'm still having trouble getting back to local time and so haven't caught up with all the latest news on here yet. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you are back.
