Sorry. The boy demanded food. PB&J, our house specialty for him. And a nice chef salad for me - bright crisp greens, crunch carrotts, chopped up ham leftovers, with some Colby Jack cheese. Perfect lunch on a warm yet pleasant day.

Oh and a wonderful glass of Sun Tea. This gorgeous weather has inspired my to get my pitcher out. I LOVE Sun Tea!

Southern Style of course. With more sugar than any mother in her right mind would give a child. (Don't worry my boy got milk, I drank the tea!)

Beat you by 1. I have sent 11 and only read 10. But then again I haven't inventoried my bathing supplies today.

Hey, Jill, do you think the worldly people may think we have lost our minds?

Think? For some of them there is no doubt!

Having a, "Ahhh, that is so sweet," moment with the pampered pooch. The girl is not here today and he has curled up on his bed with one of her baby blankets, (one that could be used for the next one). He has wrapped himself up reall good too.

But what would they do with out us? A page or two of comments at best!

You must care for that pain in the behind more than you admit. I would be fussy if he stole from my children.

That is true. Good thing they have us for entertainment. Wonder what they do when we are not around?

Good Heavens. It just occured to me that it is page 2 and you have not sang to us or danced for us yet today Karen. Perhaps Rain Drops keep Falling on My Head for you and Zippity Do Dah for me. (It really is a wonderful day here.)

That is so funny, Jill because Rain Drops keep Falling on my head is intermingled with It's Raining, It is pouring... all morning.

But between filling up your inbox, I am attempting to leave early today. Which will not happen. As for dancing, I can just wiggle my tush in my seat. But go right ahead, Miss All Engergy.

Is that a polite way of asking me to shut up?

You know, when you head off to the doctors today, I might be forced to actually get something done around here. So you see I am not really motivated to stop yakking you.

Just re-reading previous posts and it would appear that I am a bit calloused toward the canine set. I wouldn't mind if he had his own blankie, or toys, or teddy bears, just don't steal from my kids.

That reminds me of my Dad's beloved, departed mutt. The dog would take one of my Dad's dirty stinky shirts out of the laundry hamper, lay it out on the floor, then curl up on top of it for a nap. He was a good dog, but obviously etrememly devoted to my Dad.

Do you think I really want to go get on two scales today, there was a baby shower Saturday and a birthday party yesterday. Cake and ice cream were involved at both places. I would rather spend my day, chatting with the world, than having to act so shocked when the scales tilt.

Pampered pooch is missing the girl today. I have no idea why, when she is home he is hiding under my chair trying to get away from all her lovin.
I know, Plum is wondering what color blanket the pooch has apprehended, so I will put her mind at ease. It was a yellow one, Plum.

Hello, World!
A good Monday morning here. I am almost over the "crud", have hubby and MIL going to dr. today for same. Seems almost everyone around has some variant of cold/sinus/allergy/asthma/cough/bronchitis/pneumonia--must be something in the air. Not that you can see pollen all More...

Heidi - I, too, love your new avatar. We have a small magnolia tree in our back yard.

Kathy - yes, it is always hard for me to leave our beloved beach house, but especially this time when I knew I was coming back to a BIG messy project.

Kathy--do you know what that means when, you get all that stuff? You will have to use them, then join Jane in that counting thing. Poor woman.

Hazel, the same stuff is hitting here. Hit the girl and me the day that those strong winds arrived and the report of the swine flu thing. OH joy.

In answer to your earlier query, Jill, the kitchen isn't even started yet. I have a free standing table top induction plate and a free standing table top halogen turbo oven, both on a table in what will be the salon, one day, I hope,

Darn pampered pooch. Tried to get him to go outside all morning to take care of business and he refused to go. Guess he thought he would get a paw wet or something. Now, I am on my way out and he wants to go take care business.

GMo - why would you even want a kitchen when you can have French chefs prepare your meals???

I see Kathy is back posting again. I don't envy her the mess that's about to manifest itself upon her, but I know she is going to enjoy her new kitchen. She is an excellent cook! In fact, I am going to ask her to post her recipe for cheesy potatoes that she served one night last week (to accompany the yummy steaks Rob grilled).

I also want to remind everyone that Fiona will be in Florida this July. HOORAY! We are planning to have a Sudokufest gathering while she and her family are in Orlando (sometime between July 15 and July 23). I personally will be spending a few days at the beach (probably Indialantic) and More...

Rayray - sorry you've been having computer problems. I'm just getting caught up with all the e-mails that accumulated while I was gone and will get back to you soon. I still haven't had a chance to look up your sequel to the fly poem but will do so later today. I am looking forward to it!

UPSA DAISY

Whilst munching turf upon my lawn,
my sheep baa-ed me this tale.
In Ewes’ minds now, springs soft corn -
it's April – they've no male.
So:

while she supped upon a buttercup,

Judy, my birthday is on my avatar! April 29, 1961. (The 5 is there because there are 5 in my household and I needed another number to fill the square that the plum wasn't filling up.)
