It is a slow start, but need to finish it by my bookclub tomorrow. I'm not ready to recommend it yet, will let you know tomorrow. Has anyone else read it?

Nal, actually, I will be taking Conversational Spanish in January. I am a Nurse working in a Surgeons office, we have a large amount of Spanish speaking patients, and no one to translate, so, I will be the one to do so. Thank you for offering to help. I may need it.

Dick - Thanks for your input. I grew up in Germany (a little town called Mastershausen) I have been in the states for 23 years, and of course, Here I don't use my German skills very often, so, of course, I have lost them. Thanks again, everyone has been so helpful.

Corky - Thanks again, I believe we will go with both, My niece would like to keep it interesting for her teacher. Mind you, this is a 10 year old little girl, who has the mind of a 21 year old. It's amazing how fast they grow up. I will let you know what her grade turns out to be.

Hello Billy - weather much the same, very overcast but not cold. I'm just on my way out to meet some distant relative on my in-laws side and have morning tea. All these people I'm meeting this weekend, it's great.

We were talking here the other day about how long the site has been going, and when we first started posting. I mentioned that the first time I ever played (early Oct '05)then read the comments, everyone was posting 'happy birthday to Robin in Michigan' and I was wondering who the famous person was. Now a couple of days later you show up again after so long. That's eerie.

Susan - That is eerie. Yes, it's been awhile since I've visited the site. I was having a lot of computer problems. I now have a new computer at home, so, I can start visiting once again. Good memory Susan. I do remember that day. It was nice to get all those Happy Birthdays.

Robin, can you refresh my memory. Who were some of the regulars that you remember? I have to go now, paperwork calls, but will check back later.

Susan from Ingham - I believe Corky from Ireland and Billy from Perth, also Susan from Calgary are names I remember from before, there are many that I don't recognize now. I'm just amazed that this site is still going. I love it. This is a great way to meet people from all over the world. And, friendly people at that.

I am so tired tonight. I was up until 4:30
am sewing an Ariel costume so we could go to Boo at the Zoo today. Ashley was so excited! 'I'm a mermaid!' Amber was the cutest little Tinkerbelle there. I am going to take full advantage of the changeover from Daylight Savings Time tonight! Pictures were taken and will be submitted on the parent's page, pending Mom and Dad's approval.

Jan/ Ga., You'll find the Outlander discussion on the parent's page on Oct 14th 0r 15th. I'd be interested in your comments too. They can still be added I think. Deb/Brissie, just want to add my voice to those who are glad to see that you are getting better. Hope you will soon be completely recovered.
