GannieMo - It looks like we'll be staying in a village called Bazas for a week starting on 7/4/07. It's located between Bordeaux and Agen and looks like it is between 40 and 50km from Bergerac. An easy drive to come over there to meet you and anyone else from that area.

rose I really like your lose weight idea and altho a photo is still something I run shy of, I'm in. I lost 10kg in a big effort a year ago but this festive season three of them have come back on and really there were another 5 to get rid of, so something orta be done, 8kg definitely worth losing here.

I just converted my wt loss goal to kilos. I think I'll get healthy with the Aussies! 36 sounds easier than 80!

Sarah Beth - But I would think it much more fun to say how many pounds that you have lost, rather than kilos - to say you have lost 10 pounds sounds like you have worked much harded than losing 4.5 kilos!!

I find machines at the gym which ask me to enter my weight in lb a bit mind boggling.
but when i convert the kilos to stones - very old money that - well it is sobering indeed!
am i right in thinking that in america you haven't ever talked in stones?

Sarah Beth From Littleton, Co - 14 pounds = 1 stone. Pre decimal weight in Aus was given as stones and pounds. eg I used to be 12st 7lbs - when I played rugby.
