Wait! puff,puff,puff...slow down Jane (I'm pedaling as fast as I can) I want to give you my list and Karen probably still needs an ice cream sandwich... Morning all!

Oooohhh ... you're a feisty one, Neil! Good to see you transplant yourself from the humorless Tough Page!

Janmie, aren't there some kids making out in the hall or passing around test answers that you should be attending to rather than hanging out with the delinquents here?
03/Sep/10 12:56 AM
 |  |

that should have been Jamie, great, I see him sending the typing teacher sfter me now

After. I give up.

Jamie is retired, Shannon, he does not have to attend to such behavior any longer.

Darn it, I knew I forgot something when I did a quick stop at the store this morning.

Ahhh, then you're on your first fountain drink of the day already?

Great day here. The only problem I have is deciding do I want to take one child to Sam's tomorrow or wait till the weekend when I am child free, again. Though I think I will still have one child, since MIL wants to take the other one on a spa day. (That also means new clothes). Oh, the decisions I have to make.

Shannon, No, Karen is making Koffee in her Kitchen.

And for a healthy choice, I am munching on Funyuns.

Oh, Neil dear, I do not use such language. If I must I enter the food preparation room. Though I avoid as much as possible.

Shannon, There are no delinquents on this site that I know of (check your dictionary), and we are all getting further away.

Jane, being a Chicago girl I had no fears when going to NYC the first time and relying on public transportation. We meet some friends in the Village and get on the subway. Just as the doors are closing, this HUGE woman, half baglady/half para-military marches to the middle of the car and yells, More...

... and I will (and probably cannot) tell who is further away.

I will have to stop now, otherwise the Phantom will give me a negative writeup.

But, just, maybe ...
03/Sep/10 1:13 AM
 |  |

Oh, go for it Neil, let the little devil loose.

The Phantom, is just messing with us in good fun. See what he will say about your antics. We would all like to know.

Karen: I like your breakfast choice of Funyuns...went to the market yesterday and got Lay's potato chips (on sale), but let the Funyuns stay on the shelf this time.

If a Phantom (ie, a non-existent thing) gives me a negative write-up, I am sure that our physics teacher will confirm that real people will give me a good write-up.

(Neil's Lesson 208 - think positively).

Aileen, the Funyuns were not my choice, but when Thing II picked them out, along with 5 other varieties of chips, I could not argue with her. Though the other 5 did make it back to the shelf. I cannot say they are whole chips any longer, but they are on the shelf.

Neil, darling, live dangerously.
Not one to go out of my way to do any type of math, whatsoever. But if Phantom gave you a negative and Mr. Retiree gave you a positive, wouldn't that still be a negative?
03/Sep/10 1:35 AM
 |  |

Hello sudokuland! That seemed like an easy puzzle, but it took my awhile to get it done. So am I out of practice or did I just spend too much time in the rocking chair with my sick baby last night?
03/Sep/10 1:36 AM
 |  |

Ah Karen. Looks like I got here just in time to give you a hand. It would depend on how negative the negative is and of course how positive the positive is. The result could be negative, neutral, or positive.

Perhaps Karen, you could clear something up for me. I thought Jaime was a retired Geometry Teacher. What's with all the physics business?
03/Sep/10 1:39 AM
 |  |

Jamie is subbing as a physics teacher for the first few weeks at school.

You call that help, Jill. I call it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher is talking again. Where is the Tylenol?
03/Sep/10 1:45 AM
 |  |

Tylenol is in the sick baby, hopefully helping him to sleep.

Karen,

-2 (a negative) to the power of +2 (a positive from Mr. Retiree) gives +4 - a positive.

However, if Mr. Retiree doesn't vote, then it's the Phantom against all the girls - who do you think will win out of those two sides?

I didn't say 'juvenile' delinquents Neil . Of course you were probably making inference to something else and it went right over my head. So 'that place' is known as food prep room. I'm starting to feel that way about my phone, what can we rename that?
03/Sep/10 1:54 AM
 |  |

OK, maybe Hornito should be taken into consideration here, instead of Tylenol.

Though in the last statement, it is always the women who would win no matter what.
I still say, live a little dangerously.

I usually start every day with something salty and crunchy. Do you have the Lay's Deli-style Aileen? That's a personal favorite. Today I was actually healthy and just went with crunchy...corn flakes.

I do not think it is appropriate Shannon to use such langauge on this site. I will have to think of something else.
I really hope you have caller ID.

Speaking of the food preparation room.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to prepare Lil' smokies.
Generally, I dump them in a crock pot and put BBQ sauce on top. But that does not sound appealing today, but I want the little smokies. Don't care to make them pigs in a blanket, either.

Ah, Neil. I was only addressing the additive properties. How very smart of you to consider the POWER of the women.
03/Sep/10 2:02 AM
 |  |

I do, but I was in a room that just had a regular old-style contraption and doesn't show numbers. And if I don't answer they just keep calling incessantly until I do.
03/Sep/10 2:03 AM
 |  |

How about an answering machine or voice mail?
Great excuse, "I was in the relief room and did not hear the phone ring. I think I have the run."
Prefect conversation stopper or even call backs.

Wait , your Thing is getting a spa day? What could she possibly need that for, as you cater to their every need already. Children having spa days is just wrong, sort of the way I feel when I see a tyke sitting in a first class seat! I didn't take my first flight until I was like 20 and this More...

Shannon,

Delinquent means 'under 18' - and I am reasonably sure that there are very few (if any) people posting on this site which are under 18.

I did not say 'juvenile delinquent' because that is an oxymoron - which is the type of phrase that I would never use.

PS: I never make inferences - I state exactly what I mean.
