Don't go so fast on that bike - the front tyre is a little worn.

Eve, I agree with Suzy, get it fixed using someone els.

Rayray and Mo, sending healing thoughts (Mo, stop sleeping on the roof and maybe the vertigo will go away!)

Glinda, that's a good poser. I like Shiela's ice idea for the drinks, so I'll just get stranded with her.

Rayray - No problemo! I have a "hover" gear!

It looks as if it might hover below ground level

Here is the missing 'e' from my last post, I dropped it...

2.14 I believe this is in dino's yard. I am sure this is the Buddha and cat my daughter photographed when we visited. This is not my daughter's picture though, the cat was in a different part of the garden. It must have preferred to be next to the other statue!

W've got people like you round our way. The laricons make a lot of noise with their bikes. Tearaways.

Strange that Gail! Someone is stealing 'e's.
I lost one too - at the same time as you

Sorry Ray, maybe it was yours I found!
30/May/09 9:50 AM

Hadn't thought about that Gail.
Strange happening that. When I lost mine I didn't know you had lost yours too. Fortunately they were little 'e's rather than big 'E's

I have read everyone's thoughts on why people come and go on the site. Only those who have left know the real reason why they no longer come here. I know personally my problem for not being here very much has been time [lack there of] with some medical reasons for both hubby and myself. I More...

Amen to that, Sue.

Healing to you, Mo.

Good one, Jim.

I agree as well, Sue, that people shouldn't feel as though they're being badly treated. I don't know the particulars of those cases, and so I hesitate to say anything about that. Others, though, have left because the site has become too... perhaps too cozy in some ways. There's been such an More...

I'm still mulling over what appliance to have with me on the desert island. Probably an electric razor. Wouldn't want to scare off any would-be rescuers with my furry legs, now would I?
30/May/09 10:55 AM
 |  |

I think both Rayray and Mo should have an electric heating pad with them.
30/May/09 10:55 AM

Kathy/MD would probably want an electric pencil sharpener so she can keep up with Fiona's puzzles (which would, of course, be arriving as messages in a bottle).

Hello my lovelies,

thort i'd better show my 'face' as I've just had a zillion email notifications wishing me and my betrothed every happiness, and it is truly appreciated. Today is the day, and what a beautiful day it is. Happpiness and joy are extended to you all (how mushy am i More...

Good morning all.
Billy's dropped by - have a wonderful day, Billy!
Some good laughs today, thanks to all.
The appliance on a desert island - a computer, of course (with internet access).
No news from Jill - I suppose she IS busy.

The dog and I blew up some balloons to help you, Billy.

Billy, if that's your 'face,' do your feet have eyebrows?

There are lots of messages of congratulations to Billy on her page, God bless.

But I thought the convention was to congratulate only the bridegroom, and to simply say something like 'best wishes' or 'all the best' to the bride.

My comment on the issue of two days ago: When Keith posted his comment yesterday, I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. Since he mentioned the mystery issue again today, I went back a few days to try to find the initiating comment and found the whole discussion. So... Even the More...

Cyn, Glinda said 'other than a communication device', otherwise we would have ALL said pooters!

Rayray.... I'd like to send healing thoughts your way, too, as well as some of my pain meds for the back. I've got some that'll knock your socks off!

I have left nothing on Billy's page. I wouldn't want to depress her with my condolences.

Jill update.
Have you folks been waiting long? I have.
Jill was discharged today, but they kept the baby for few more hours, but the little person is strong and healthy and should come home tomorrow.

Sarah, I hope you have forwarded your comments to Gath in an email. Your suggestion/question about the Comment Types is right on and needs to be thought about. If something I did gave you the "insiders only" feeling, I apologize. I certainly don't want anybody to feel that way.

Thanks for the update, Karen. Been checking in all day and was beginning to worry.

Oops sorry, should learn to read. Thanks Gail. In that case, some kind of food dispensing machine that automatically restocks itself so that I don't have to go foraging for food. Of course it would need to contain some good quality dark chocolate at least.

Um ... yes, Bean. I can not tell a lie. It reminded me of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but it was a hoot. It was great fun. I don't remember using the word maniac. Was Mr. Toad a maniac?

Appy - I hadn't heard anything about this up here in Brisbane, maybe the Melbourne members may know more but, please, don't let this turn you off visiting Australia. I was going to say that this type of attack is rare here until I read the article. How awful - please don't think Aussies would condone something this vicious.

Appy, please believe that most Aussies are appalled at this violence. Do not take this as an example of all of us.
