Kathy, I personally think that 82 degrees is VERY warm. I'm sure you've all heard me mention how much I LOVE winter. It is very white outside and the sun is shining. I can't wait for the windchills to get out of the negatives so we can go outside and play!

Kathy - You CAN have a BIG spa. Years ago, left a young friend (now 46) to take care of our place while we were gone. Showed him how to heat the spa -which required turning the valves to change the circulation to spa only when heater was on. When we returned, the pool (and spa) was 100°+/-.

Hi Denny - how are the dogs - do have winter jackets & boots for them?

Kathy, your spa seems to be a LITTLE warm for me. I grew up swimming in Lake Superior (average temperature around 40 degrees F). However, if I could get down to Florida, I think I could tough it out! Snow still coming down like crazy here!

Aileen - for the Bruins (I'm tired of saying next year).

Was a big fan of the Lakers back in the days of Wilt the Stilt, West, Baylor, 'Hot Rod' & Selby. After they moved to the Fourm - the ticket prices got too pricey.

Oh for the days of Johnny More...

Crazy weather here. Yesterday, it snowed all day, today it is raining. Lots of wind both days. I hope the power doesn't go out.

2:21 A blustery Saturday night left us with plenty of snow (yahoo!) but yesterday it rained and was miserable. Still, some of the white stuff is on the ground, and I'm counting on more coming. Cheers to all our Birthday People today!

Out racquetballing and I miss all the fun! Kathy, I already caught Dave in his boxers yesterday ... glow-in-the-darks, no less! Heat up the spa and make it suit-optional. Leave the pool ice cold ... we can watch the shrinkage ... :) I am a little fearful of the purpose of Keith's toothbrush, however ...

Male or Female?

You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples:

FREEZER BAGS: They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

... Here's a few interesting facts -

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

Dino - You don't want to be at the beach in Oregon today. We have hurricane force winds - gust over 130 mph. Waves are over 30'. Add rain to this mix. The largest Sitka Spruce (believe to be in the world) was felled by the winds 1/2 way up it split.

Just had to post that last report!! It came from the ABC news site (that's Australian Broadcasting Commission) but I had read it earlier in the paper so it's obviously from one of the news services.

We have had a VERY windy day too! The neighbor's Nativity blew all over the street. Joseph ended up in my driveway! He scratched my car!
Hope it's not some kind of omen!
