A dreadfully slow puzzle today for me.
I am dealing with a dead or dying refrigerator. No fun! Have the ice chest in the kitchen for milk,etc. and all the stuff from the freezer side stowed in the chest freezer, so we can cope for the rest of the long weekend and probably More...

WHY does that sort of thing always happen on a holiday weekend?? 13 years is a good run nowadays for a fridge, Hazel. Although, our neighbor has an old one of ours in his garage and it's still running after about 18 years. Don't make 'em like they used to! Course, he has to defrost it, which is the reason I got rid of it in the first place!

I need to get ready for a pre-4th of July celebration. Any excuse for a party!

Good mAen all. I agree, it's been quite the morning between Tour de France and World Cup. Looks like we could be headed into a cliffhanger here with Paraguay/Spain. I'd like to see Netherlands in the final too, but it would be nice to not have it be an all European final (sorry Jane- although you're right Germany looks unstoppable).

That was one of the weirdest games I've ever seen! When Spain finally scored, it looked more like a pinball game than a soccer (oops! I mean "football" game)!!!

I am so glad we went to a fireworks show last night and the night before. We sure won't be having the show tonight and possably the one tomorrow night if the weather is correct.

That's a lot of fireworks shows, Sue. Ours could be in jeopardy tonight as the winds have really kicked up here...

We have lots of fireworks options: Tonight up in Darien (about 15 north of us) or tomorrow here on St. Simons Island or on Jekyll Island (the next island south of us) or in Brunswick (just across the causeway on the mainland). I think we'll go to Jekyll because we can watch from the beach, More...
